We went here Sunday evening for dinner. The best part of our visit was two martinis at the bar. Large martinis but pricy. Otherwise our spaghetti and veal meatballs were above average, as well as the salad. Our server kept trying to rush us along, which was ridiculous considering the restaurant was half full and nobody was waiting for our... More

I have been coming to this restaurant for years. I always found it to be very enjoyable. Recently this was not the case. I went with 4 adults and 2 children. We ordered pizza for the children, my wife ordered pasta bolognesa, I ordered veal meatballs, we also ordered grilled octopus. The food was lukewarm and the taste mediocre. I... More

If Casa D'Angelo is too formal or expensive for you Angelo Elia's offers much of the same quality in smaller portions and in a more casual trattoria setting with 80 wines choices instead of 2000. Great food

We dined for lunch on Saturday with another couple. They have a bunch menu on Saturday and Sunday. The service is very good. I had the Sunday gravy-sausage, meatballs and pork ribs over rigatoni. Very good although I thought the meatballs were a bit dense. My wife had the lasagna Bolognese the meat sauce was great and the lasagna tender.... More

Good pasta, salads and overall the food is uncomplicated and good. Service was friendly but the place is noisy.

Sincere, authentic and not at all overbearing, from the servers to management, diners will know they are the most important part of this restaurant's success. My acid test is to ask for recommendations, and in Angelo's there was no hesitation and yet a wonderful variety to choose from. Fabulous, tender octopus. Meatballs that melt in your mouth. I had veal... More

For a different treat, and not the kind you may find at fusion or chain restaurants, this place will fit the bill. Say if you like to pair pears and blue cheese, imagine that with figs and Italian bacon added... You may want to sit away from the gelato counter, or arm yourself by boosting your will power.

Have been there in two different occasions, both time the service was friendly and the food was impecable. The octopus salad is a unique mixture of ingredients that will make you order it more than once. The lasagna, lamb shanks are to die for. if you don't have a big appetite think in terms of sharing, the portions are big.... More

Our friends "warned" us that the portions were large and we were not disappointed. The Tapas are the size of a main dish and can easily be shared between 2 or more. Our group tried several of Tapas including the Grilled Octopus, which was disappointing as it was hard and chewy. We went on to try the Tuscan Minestrone which... More

This is a wonderful Italian restaurant where the service is great and the food is always good. Cocktails are also generous. They take reservations and are generally good about having a seat when you arrive. However thanks to this place I am crazy for great meatballs. They are the best on the planet. I love to get the spaghetti and... More
