We just spent two nights in Fernandina Beach and had two dinners at Espana. The first because of its ranking on TripAdvisor, the second because it was so good that why bother taking a chance on anywhere else. Frankly, until I'd sampled everything on the...More

This was a very good restaurant. We had good sangria(not too sweet), great seafood paella and amazing mozembeque shrimp appetizer! The weather was perfect and the back patio was very nice. I'd recommend this place to anyone.

We were lucky to get a table at 5:00, and this meal didn’t disappoint! The waiter was well-versed in all all the dishes, and our young assistant waiter from Cuba made our meal so enjoyable. An annoying older couple in front of us had hounded...More

My wife and I are locals and always choose Espana for our anniversary diner. We have never been disappointed. This is by far one of the best restaurants in town!

Our first tastes of their varied and exciting menu. We enjoyed a fabulous Spanish paella that was fresh, very well prepared, and served hot. Their special sangria was the perfect match. Everyone around us also praised the wonderful tastes of the tapas they were served....More

Had a delicious lunch here and were impressed with the menu choices, service and the fact that being on the main drag & most tourists won’t walk here, it wasn’t crowded. Margaritas were top notch!

The traditional flavors of Spain and Portugal are highlighted in all our dishes here in the heart of historic Fernandina Beach. Sip on homemade Sangria or enjoy a glass of wine from a list of hand picked selections (International and Californian). Choose from a menu of hot and cold tapas, "just caught" fish or meat entrees including the national dish of Spain, Paella. You can choose to dine in our cozy main dining room, bright enclosed patio dining room or lush garden dining area which is open generally Thursday - Sunday and weather permitting :) Chef Roberto is a second generation restaurateur, with over 28 years experience. He endeavors to make your evening a memorable one by bringing both his own family recipes, and inspiration from trips to Spain and Portugal for you to savor and enjoy. Family owned and operated since 2004. The Original on Amelia Island!
