Yummy, yummy, yummy... Delicate, perfectly battered fried grouper with all the down home Southern style fixins. Our stay at Amelia Island wouldn't be complete without a couple of pit stops at Shucker's.

Best oysters i have eaten in long time. The grouper fingers justed cooked perfectly---served hot. My wife said the grouper wrap was great. The waitress team know what customer service means in food business Shucker's proves great seafood can be served when not located right on the ocean !!

I wasn't sure what to expect because of some mixed reviews I had read. I was pleasantly surprised. The food was delicious. I had fried grouper and hushpuppies. The grouper was so delicately battered and fried, the tartar sauce was very good and the cole slaw was tasty. And what's not to like about a hush puppy. My husband had... More

My wife and I were in Fernandina Beach for one week and this is a great restaurant for seafood. The seafood platter was plenty for two people. The servers were very friendly and did a great job.

We will not go back. We had shrimp and it was much smaller than most we have had. It was greasy and not what you would expect in this area. Very disappointing.

Just before you cross over the bridge to Amelia and Fernandina is Shucker's Oyster Bar nestled behind a gas station. We stopped in for lunch. The staff are very friendly and service was very good. The seafood baskets are good menu items. Each of the different seafood items were perfectly cooked but not overly flavored. The portions were good for... More

We had fried shrimp dinners. The hush puppies were over cooked, tasteless and cold. Sent them back and they were replaced with two more just like the first. The shrimp and cole slaw were mediocre. The only thing hot on the plate were the fries. We won't be going back.

So we visit this local gem every time we come to Amelia and we have not been disappointed. The seafood is of the boat fresh and the beer specials worthy. This is a local hangout so if you complain about everything pointless don't go as we will all be better off. Grouper fingers and grits can't be beat.

We went to this place on the recommendation of a friend. It was a little hard to find b/c it is behind a service station and a car wash. There is a very long bar and plenty of tables/booths inside. There is also outside seating but b/c it was 95+ degrees outside we decided to eat inside. After looking over... More

The oysters were great and very well priced. Waitstaff friendly and very efficient. Bit of a dive bar, but if you just run in for food, it's good.
