Hard to find, but worth it. Hush puppies were exceptionally good. My gluten free grouper was a good choice. Fish was tender. Would return.

We only ate at a few restaurants in Destin, but this was by far the best. We went at 7:30pm on a Friday night and waited about 20 minutes for a table outside. The food delicious and appropriately priced. The staff was friendly and attentive. I had the cobia special and my wife had the lobster and shrimp etuffeee. Both... More

My hubby and I had dinner here our last night in Destin. Restaurant atmosphere was great and offered an amazing sunset. Food was alright, not sure it is worth what prices reflect. Service was ok, think our waiter was spread pretty thin that night. However, the young man filling water was great and should be promoted as he was able... More

We got there around 6:15PM, they do not take reservations, this restaurant is in a townhouse complex. You can see the restaurant sign from 98 but you have to go around the Block to find the entrance to the compound, then to the Restaurant. Security guard will give you a pass to put on your dashboard. Our waiter was very... More

We received a recommendation from the owner of the condo we are staying at on Okaloosa Island. We did not realize how nice it was - casual fine creole/cajun dining. The hush puppies were brought out before our meals, like bread, were delicious. Not greasy at all. I ordered the blackened scallops with pineapple butter. The scallops were melt-in-your-mouth. The... My family ate here in April 2017. It's a tad tricky to find, but once you get there, sit out on the deck and look out over the marina. It's beautiful at sunset, and the food was sublime. I has the Seafood Lagniappe (pronounced lan-yap), which the waiter said was one of his favorite dishes. Fresh grouper was covered with... More

Last night for my wife and I in Destin and we decided to return to an old favorite Louisiana Lagniappe. We were not disappointed. We sat outside overlooking the harbor on a beautiful evening. Service was prompt and we enjoyed a glass of wine and some hush puppies while looking over the menu. The restaurant was featuring a number of... More

We have driven by this restaurant many times so decided to give it a try. Be aware that parking is VERY limited because the restaurant sits in the middle of a condo complex so we ended up using valet parking which was only $5. Although the restaurant was busy there were still several tables on the patio that were empty... More

In 1984, Louisiana Lagniappe was opened and established inside Sandpiper Cove condominiums in what was at one time the Sandpiper Cove Yacht Club. A loyal following was quickly established due, in no small part, to the quality of the food and the attention to detail of the service. In 1998 The Southern Restaurant Group took ownership of the restaurant with a commitment to maintain the same level of food quality and service. Since then, Louisiana Lagniappe has consistently served only the freshest seafood and steaks. Now open year round, Louisiana Lagniappe is the spot for a memorable dining experience on all levels. In 1999, a second Louisiana Lagniappe was opened in the San Roc Cay Shopping and Marina Complex in Orange Beach, Alabama. Offering the same fine Louisiana seafood with a Creole flair, the attire is casual, yet an upscale waterfront dining experience is provided for the entire family.
