This restaurant is a hidden gem, only one and a half blocks off busy Atlantic Avenue. They are open Thursday to Sunday for dinner only, but you will not be disappointed if you are looking for classic Bahamian food (conch fritters, plantains, jerk chicken, coconut shrimp) served in a homey atmosphere. Prices are very reasonable, especially considering the nearby eateries... More

Something a little different and off the Avenue this family owed and run restaurant is a local secret. If your in a rush probably not for you but if you have the time treat yourself. The jerk dishes are exceptional.

Another reviewer mentioned the food being lukewarm and I would consider my visit as such. We went on NYE, booked reservations for two outside. We showed up, only one other table sat while there were a total of 5 filled before we left-not busy at all. Service-the waitress offered no menu recommendations or night specials (overheard night specials from another... More

Visited on a Saturday night when the restaurant was busy. Service was very attentive although we did have to wait a while for the main courses. The red snapper cooked in a banana leaf was truly delicious. It was by far the best of the main courses we ordered. The plantains and okra fried rice accompanying the main courses were... More

...Bamboo Fire Café is the Caribbean food of the people. All the people! What a wondrous find in Delray Beach after exiting Devour Brewing Company and in need of some sustenance. Small place, very modest but with a great Caribbean list of delightful dishes to choose from: Chicken, you can have it Jerk, curry, grilled or escoveitch (pickled vegetables), Basa... More

We went here with a group of 8 adults and 2 small kids. The food was incredible! There were multiple vegetarian options. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. The environment is casual/relaxed. I'd highly recommend this restaurant.

Went here for dinner with my missus while on holiday and while I enjoyed the food my wife didn't. I started with curried chick peas which were delicious, my wife started with curried lentil soup which turned out be a plate of curry sauce which you normally associate with Chinese curry and chips which I must admit was pretty vile.... We experienced a wonderful dinner here. The food is a delight and the owners are lovely people who were more than happy to discuss their menu with us and the various spices used in their cooking. We are vegans and they have plenty of wonderful, flavorful options for us. Their curry was just great. A little bit of a kick... More

Found this restaurant and decided to try it and so glad we did. The curry goat and roti was delicious! The owner was friendly and the restaurant was cozy. We will definitely add this to our list of go to places to eat!

Great food and flavor for everyone. Feeding 2 vegans and 3 meat eaters with flavor is tough. Coconut tofu was crisp outside and soft on inside. Oxtail was deep and meaty. Snapper curry had some spice and sweet. Plantains. Tontines. All great. A few beers to go with it. Awesome.
