Great Indoor/outdoor bar with a view of both One Daytona and the Speedway. Sir Malcolm’s is the restaurant. Group of 6 all had different entrees and all were flavorful and well prepared. Delivery of the entrees was slow, but worth the wait!

When we have visited Daytona in the past, we have always loved our beach experience and we have found good value there. One thing we had not found in Daytona is a spectacular restaurant… until now! Last night we strayed from the beach and drove up by the raceway where we found the Blue Flame.
We were immediately impressed with the ambiance, the memorabilia, and the attention to small details that the staff exhibited.
Kim was our server and she was outstanding. She was able to provide excellent wine and food suggestions. She checked in on us frequently to ensure we had everything we needed. Her standards were even higher than our own when it came to ensuring that our orders were timely and everything was expertly prepared. The place was immaculate, including the washrooms.
We give the Blue Flame our highest recommendation!

I had the pleasure of being greeted by Renny who deftly helped me pick a freshly crafted smoked Old Fashioned to start things off right. Then he asked a few questions when I was ready to offer some thoughtful recommendations. I enjoyed a really wonderful beef short rib plate that was really fantastic. If you're a fan of short ribs I'd encourage them. It was huge and the delicious meat fell off the bone and was quite succulent. It's been a nice time if you're staying here or want to enjoy the view over the speedway and special events, like the Jeep week going on now, you'll be able to enjoy a nice drink, good food and relaxing atmosphere! I highly recommend. Thanks Renny and chefs!

We decided to try this spot since we were in the area around lunch. We had perused the menu online and found a lot of interesting sounding options.
We arrived at the lower lobby of The Daytona Hotel, a new property across the street from the Daytona International Speedway, at 11:30. We followed the signage to the second floor which is the main lobby and dining venue of the hotel.
We were the only customers the whole time we were there. The decor is Industrial Car Centric with several historic race cars and a motorcycle at the forefront of a somewhat stark environment. Even the candle holder on the table appeared to be a hose clamp from a race car. The place settings were all black metal. The serving dishes were also black to match the napkins. More color would be nice, but not necessary.
We were greeted by our excellent server Emily who took our drink orders for a Pinot Grigio for the wife and a draft Stella for me. We had decided on trying one of our favorite snack proteins to share for the appetizer, Crispy Chicken Livers with Green mango, jicama and a roasted garlic citrus aioli. The livers might have been in the fryer a little too long, but the preparation was nice. We would have liked some more of the aioli. The serving was large and we did not finish the dish.
For our "handhelds" the wife went with the Sarsaparilla Braised Short Rib Tacos with warm corn tortilla, cotija, slaw, pico and bourbon pickled onions. The definitive adjective here is "warm". The dish should have come out at least 15 degrees hotter. Flavors were good. I had the Pork Cheek Reuben with house kraut, citrus island dressing on seeded rye. This dish was the winner on the day.
The total bill came to $61.77 before a nice tip.
I have a feeling that maybe the on duty chef was not up to Marriott quality. Only one item of three was what I would consider perfect. As I mentioned we were the only customers during our full meal departing at 12:09 PM.
We live in New Smyrna Beach a few miles south of Daytona and will give this spot another chance maybe at the main dinner restaurant "Sir Malcolm".

Chose to come here dinner with my wife and had a wonderful evening at blue flame. Our server was john, he was pleasant and attentive. It was nice to see a Chef out of the kitchen and talking with guests, he even came to our table and spoke with us briefly, I think his name was Michael. Food was excellent and our drinks were delicious. will be back!

This place is absolutely wonderful ! The atmosphere is welcoming, not to mention the staff made us feel right at home. Our server was Michelle and I highly recommend you request her. She was extremely warm and welcoming and patiently answered all questions that we had about the menu as it was our first time eating there. Michelle’s priority was our experience and she went above and beyond for us. The food was so delicious just as expected. I can’t wait to come back to re-experience this delightful night.

How did we not know this existed??! We had SUCH a great time at The Blue Flame and were spoiled rotten by our server. Kim. We were celebrating our grandson’s birthday (he is 6- and out of state!) Kim helped us celebrate in style- chocolate cake, fresh brewed coffee and I swear I think she found the last candle in the building! ♥️ We’ll be back! Everything was delicious and the ambiance was the bomb!

Such a fun restaurant with all the cars and racing history. The food is delicious and the service is outstanding. We meet there weekly and our server Sasha knows our drinks and menu requests and always takes great care of us. Highly recommend.

The wife and I went here for date night and really enjoyed the atmosphere here. Kassidy was very sweet and knowledgeable when it came to any and all questions we had. Filets were cooked perfectly and mussels were the best we had in a long time. If you ever come here, visit kassidy at the bar and she will take great care of you.

DO NOT GO HERE. The food was horrible. I had better at Applebees. No seasoning or flavor, I tried 3 different dishes (there was 4 of us there). If you are going to charge $30-$40 a plate it better be good. I don’t know what was going on in the kitchen but it ruined Mother’s Day. My mother had one glass of mediocre wine, we had one appetizer, and no dessert and I spent $250. I tried to treat my mom and this place just screwed me. So much money for crap food, blue flame should be ashamed.

There was 2 other people in the restaurant on a Saturday night. That should have told us something. Despite the place being empty, the service was very slow. When our food finally arrived, our appetizer and my meal came out at the same time. My husband's meal trailed by 5-7 minutes. His short rib meal did not taste fresh and was barely eaten. When our waiter asked about the food, he was told the short rib was bad.
No response. We paid our bill and still left a 15% tip of which none was deserved.

Let me tell you a story of the most magical bartenders that ever were! Collin, Daylen, and Brook were the best and most attentive bartenders. We asked for the Phillies game and in addition to getting us all the sustenance they were out emotional support water bottles as we watched the Phillies win. In conclusion the Phillies won and I think it was because Collin, Daylen, and Brook were so great that we became so great. Thanks blue flame team. P.S get the Smokey and the Bandit

We came for lunch here in July and the entire area was pretty dead. The restaurant is inside a hotel and was nearly empty when we were there - we also showed up early for our reservation (unnecessary) due to a weather issue at the track. It took a second to get the staff, as there was no one at the host stand. Still, service was generally pretty good and food was decent. My dad's nachos were huge - probably too big. The biggest attraction here was the opportunity to eat near some really interesting and historic race cars and displays about the history of racing in the area. There is also an adjacent gift shop with model cars and the like. I'm sure the experience would have been better when the area is a bit more lively.

Walked in, surroundings were wonderful. Wasn't crowded and My son met us at the bar after looking around. He was very very pleasant and made two splendid Blood Orange Mules Chatted briefly and we ordered a pizza to share which was enough for my wife and I. Told Mason we would be back on Saturday and hoped to see him.

This is by far my favorite place to come when visiting Daytona. The staff is impeccable, the food is amazing, prepared with care and attention to detail, and Kim is one of the most attentive servers I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. Not only is she consistently aware of when her guests may be in need, she attends before the question is even posed. Zero lag time with her service, not to mention a warm bubbly personality to boot. I'll be attending every chance I get!
