My wife and I were in the area and want to eat Cuban food. We came across Las Casita and the reviews were good. It turned out to be some of the best Cuban food we've had. We live in South Florida but don't get to Miami very often anymore. We will definitely make an effort to visit La Casita... More

Stopped in this Cuban restaurant on our way home to Tampa from Miami after visiting the Univ of Miami. Was hoping for some good ropa vieja. I've had much better in Tampa. The restaurant had a good crowd for lunch, and I was hoping to be wowed, but I was not...

Went for business lunch. We had the vaca frita, boliche, ropa vieja, and the bistec de pollo. I had the white bean soup and it was very good. I was with some people from up north and they loved the food as well.

It is a hard combination to get together but I was pleasantly surprised during my first visit. Being located a couple of blocks from the famous Versailles Cuban restaurant does not deter many from eating at La Casita. It is a smaller place with very personal service and an upscale feel. Don't let that think that it was very expensive... More

Two couples going out for some Cuban food on a Thursday evening. The guy's had the "Bistec De Pollo", which is described as boneless chicken breast, marinated, with sides of white rice, black beans and fried sweet Plantains. The girls had the "Picadillo" and "Pollo A La Juliana". The Picadillo is described as ground beef cooked in tomato base sauce... More

It faces stiff competition from La Carreta and Versailles up the street, but this place can hold it's own. I've mostly been here for breakfast or lunch as I used to work across the street. The food is great, the staff is friendly and who knows who you might run into here. The walk up counter serves coffee and pastries... More

Went for a business lunch with out of town guys. We started with the ham croquettes which were very good. I had the pork with moros, another had the churrasco (skirt steak) and the other had the arroz con pollo. All the food was very good and tasty.

There is a familiar atmosphere of a nice cuban restaurant. The palomilla beef with rice and plantains is very good.

There are several Cuban restaurants throughout Miami and Coral Gables, but none as La Casita. The food is fresh, tasty and affordable.

Delicious, authentic Cuban food! The restaurant looks like a diner from the outside, but there are white tablecloths and wine bottles on the tables. Then, plastic covered menus. I wasn't sure what to expect. I ordered the roasted pork appetizer that was so delicious that I ordered more roasted pork for my entree. My companion ordered perfectly seasoned steak. I... More
