Had the grouper Rueben and she crab soup. Both were excellent. Also had the joy of meeting Fred the day before his birthday and having one of Fred's martinis. Yum.

On a recommendation from our son and daughter in law, we took the advice and visited this establishment for a quick afternoon snack and beverage. We were pleasantly surprised to see that the dinning area had recently undergone some renovation and upgrade. The staff were friendly and attentive and our order came out quickly. The restaurant became quite busy but... More

Second year in a row we walked to this Frenchy's for lunch. The seafood gumbo is delicious. Jambalaya was very good according to my hubby. We ate outside. Friendly, prompt waitstaff. We would go back again if in the area

If you are looking for a great local greasy spoon place to grab a sandwich, this is the place. The fried grouper sandwich (the original) is great!

Continued our Frenchy's Cocktail Challenge at the Original Frenchy's Cafe with their signature drink, the Island Mojito. Pineapple infused rum with fresh lime and orange and muddled mint. This was our first stop by the Original location and it's as cool as the others!

The Original and start of a business empire. Great service, excellent location, of course wonderful seafood. Next to the gift shop. Two minutes from the beach.

If you visit Clearwater, you must go to one of the Frenchy's along the beach. They have the best grouper sandwich anywhere in Tampa Bay.

A friend of mine suggested we try this place while we were on vacation. We did and it was as great as he said it was. We had the daily special of the fried shrimp basket. I have to say it was some of the BEST fried shrimp I have ever had. The batter was so light it didn't seem... More

Close to our motel. Got carryout. Really good gumbo. Fun spot. Nice employees. This is the 4th Frenchy's we've been to.

This original Frenchies is a bit hard to find but its well worth the effort. I really love when they have stone crab claws and I'm a bit reluctant to disclose this secret god food for fear of making it even more expensive.

Thank BuzGuy
