We spent the night in Old Town for a visit to Manatee Springs and heard this was a good place for breakfast. My wife loves breakfast. She had the pancakes with sausage. They were huge! (Like my Grandmother used to make-I never could eat a whole one.)She ate two! I had two egge with sausage and grits. Very good.

On our way back home from Apalachicola we stopped at Bett's Big T restaurant. We last ate there 46 years ago on our honeymoon so stopping brought back lots of memories. On Friday and Saturday nights they have an all-you-can eat seafood special. Unfortunately we weren't that hungry but the beautiful plates that were served to the tables around us... More

After my last poor review I decided maybe they could not mess up a hamburger but guess what - the did. The meat patty was barely warm and the bun was dry and not at all fresh. The waitress tried to tell me it was because the bun was toasted but I could not see any toasting anywhere on what... More

This used to be one of my favorite restaurants but the quality of the cooking and food have gone down drastically. The waitress was very friendly and helpful- wasn't her fault. The food was lukewarm and overcooked. The peas were mushy, food not seasoned very well. The best thing about the whole meal was the dessert. Don't think I will... More

We come from afar every year. Love Bettes Big T. Its our favorite place for the last 3 years. Not sure what happened. we always order their amazing salads. The boss was sitting out there i guess having a meeting?? the staff were all hovering around completely ignoring us. Finally someone took our order. our lettuce was wilted and all... More

On a bass fishing trip our guide suggested we stop here to eat. We stopped and had breakfast. The food was wonderful with large portions. The service was even better. Not a fancy place from the road but well worth the stop. We enjoyed it so much that we stopped there for dinner. We had the Turkey Dinner, Roast Pork... More

We spotted all cars in the parking lot which is generally a good sign of a good restaurant. We had the roast beef special. It was tender and juicy . Excellent taste . Wait staff was very busy but kept up with the tables . Bathroom was very clean and that's a plus ! Highly recommend this place!!!!!

Friday and Saturday are seafood nights and the food is excellent. Absolutely the tastiest grilled shrimp, fried shrimp and fried flounder I have ever had.....and I have eaten tons!!! And the price, I honestly don't know how they can serve their customers so much food for such a low price. For sides, I highly recommend palm cabbage and the baked... More

I was actually pretty disappointed with this place. I asked what their specialties were and was told the fried chicken, roast beef and ham. I opted for the fried chicken which was a mistake! I have had better fried chicken at almost every fast food place I have gone too. The chicken lacked flavor, was really greasy and a bit... More

We've stopped here several times on the way back and forth to Tallahassee and we are never disappointed. This one time truck stop certainly looks like an old truck stop but what comes out of the kitchen is great. It is a bit dated, and the bathrooms -which are spotless- are around the side of the building, but you can't... More
