LE TI PIC, Capesterre-Belle-Eau

I had a most pleasant lunch and chat with well-traveled owner Lilian Zapata. He graciously accommodated my dietary needs by modifying the lunch special to suit me (I had the chicken Creole brochette and lunch was perfect). The smallish restaurant does have some outdoor seating...on the street corner, good for a latte while watching the world (and cars) go by. The inside is simple but nicely arranged and functional. All in all, a pleasant and tasty moment in Capesterre. A word of caution: that particular town has had issues with water quality (over-chlorination or some issue followed). Not well publicized (the water company folded there), best not to drink it.More

Great place for lunch on your tour around the island

Wonderful owner and very good food. We had tuna and it was delicious. This is a hidden gem full of local people. We stopped here on our way around Basse-Terre visiting rum distilleries, museums and beaches. We would definitely eat here again.

Generous portions. Good food.

Found this nice little resto in Capesterre-Belle-Eau, Guadeloupe. Ordered the marlin brochette. Lovely & very reasonably priced.

Amazing food served with a smile

Friendly owner, limited choice but yummy food. Very small restaurant, well hidden, we would have never got here without tripadvisor. We loved it!!

Awesome!

The food was seriously amazing. It is served on this cool hanging stick thing. We had fish and kangaroo! The owner was so friendly. One of the best dining experiences on the island!

Great Find - Delicious Lunch, Great presentation

We stumbled upon this place for lunch while driving around the perimeter of the island. By chance we were hungry as we approached this town and decided to walk around. We couldn't find much going on but found a few little green signs advertising for...this restaurant with arrows pointing toward it. We found it, and were pleasantly surprised to have one of our best meals on the island. It's a cozy corner restaurant with air-conditioning and very clean. The food was delicious, with meat on skewers that hung over the place with various local sides (we originally thought we selected one of 4 or 5 sides but you actually get ALL of the sides. The food was filling and delicious, and the waiter (owner?) was friendly and fun. Other diners appeared to enjoy their meals as well. The price was quite reasonable as well for all of the food that they provided. I'm not sure what the dinner menu is like (or if it's the same) but I would recommend this place fully.More
