We have come here for over thirty years. Literally raised our kids on their ravioli and chopped antipasto. It was like going to an Italian grandma's and got it all except the hugs. So we have moved further away and don't come in to town...More

I am a bit confused. We still have many local customers bringing their pots to fill with our homemade spaghetti! Also, we do not have any "lousy latches" on our restroom doors! Regarding your comparison to chain restaurants, I offer the following; $12 for a...More

This was my second time there. I think it’s a great place to go when family visits or anytime you are craving italian food. I had the Lottie’s special which was $24.95. I believe that menu item is the most expensive. It included large chunks...More

If you want a good Italian meal go here. Little old but good can use a good cleaning. A little hard to get into the place if you have older people that do not get around so well.

It’s just great to see the survival of a family business since the 1940’s. The menu has a variety of Italian dishes including pizza with a thin crust. Our server was very interested in pleasing us and was thrilled to see folks from VA. The...More

From outside, nothing looks special, but inside it's an old place with the decor and old-time charm of family-run restaurants that one used to find in the Little Italy sections of many cities around the country. The food is wholesome and plentiful, not "gourmet" but...More

So we take our adult children and spouses here for dinner couple Saturdays ago. Read reviews, some better than others and from pix looked south Philadelphia to me. Was really looking forward to going. There are six of us. Get big round table in last...More

I was a little disappointed. With all the great reviews and when you first walk in you get that wonderful neighborhood - at home feeling but the food was just OK. The waiter was great, friendly and attentive. The three different meals we had proved...More

Old school Italian food that is moderately priced. My spaghetti and meat sauce may have been the best of ever had and the bread was good to. This is obviously a crowded place and I recommend reservations. I think our waitress might've forgotten to our...More

Just a thought too...you might call the restaurant for directions to the back entrance. Access might be via an alleyway at the end of the block.
