Oh how lovely it was, served by lovely elderly ladies... Big portions of food, very busy place and attentive group of people... Great customer service and also patient with me as I didn't understand half of what the food was being foreign... Pity I only have a video... Thanks Guys....

We stopped over on our trip from Philadelphia to D.C.. The restaurant is a down-to-earth a local neighborhood spot. It looks like everybody knows everybody (apart from us :-)). The food is tasty, portions are huge., the staff overall friendly. But the place itself is a bit greasy, salsa bottles, salt and pepper could need a cleaning.

Libby's is a hole-in-the-wall kind of place just off the gentrified Market Street downtown, with regulars taking up the tables in two rooms and waitresses who've been there for decades. The decor is as basic as the menu: plain brown tables and wooden chairs on a tile floor, where you can feast on pancakes, waffles, eggs, breakfast meats, homefries, grits,... More

This place was great and I would definitely come back. I paid less than six dollars for my chicken salad. It was a very large portion, in fact I could not finish it all. The staff was very friendly. Seems like a very locals-only spot, in a good way. Not fancy, also in a good way!

We walked over from the Marriott and it was worth the 3 block walk. Friendly fast service. Great prices. No frills- which means to me that they are serious about breakfast. Cash only- which they clearly write everywhere- so you can't say you weren't warned. People were ordering lunches and meals to take out. I got a 3 egg omelette... More

It eggs and bacon and toast, it's simple and good. the atmosphere of locals stopping in mixed with tourists is great, everyone pretty much knows everyone else in the place. quick, not expensive and fresh. Just what you need in the a.m. Libby is definitely an original and she keeps the place hopping.

Libby's sits in the heart of downtown Wilmington with a neighborhood charm that is urban in nature. For a great down home breakfast, Libby's is the place. It is difficult to find a place north of the Mason-Dixon Line that serves grits. I like my grits creamy and rich so they stick the ribs and not watery and bland. Furthermore,... More
