We dined there a few times in the past. Food and service were exceptional by then. Now it is different. Our food could be rated “average” at most, making compliment to the chef. I would like specifically refer to the crab dip that was served...cold. Tiny amount in a loaf of bread. For that price?More

We have eaten at this restaurant many times before, and even were staying in the hotel tonight. I requested a specific table on our open table reservation, and then dropped by and spoke to two people two hours before the reservation requesting a specific table....We were celebrating my husband‘s birthday. As we walk into the restaurant, I see the managers seating another two customers, apparently well-known to him, being seated at the table I requested. The manager offered to move the people, but how awkward would that have been! So we agreed to sit at a separate table, receiving an apology from the manager. That being said, would not one expect to at least to get a free dessert when we were celebrating my husband‘s birthday!?! Nope, no further apology or intervention to appease the mistake. The food was good, the service was adequate… The manager could’ve made a greater effort to appease our situation, as we have returned here many times. When paying 300+ a night to stay here, I think a hotel guest could have been treated in a more appropriate manner.More

I am totally frustrated with this restaurant! I went in for a simple cup of soup and a glass of wine and I was charged $25 & $17 on my credit card! I’m thinking okay, Elvis my server made an honest mistake. I signed for...a $25 charge.including tip. After 5 days of waiting for the restaurant management to correct it for me, they told me it wasn’t their error and they weren’t going to help. Told me to contact my bank. Well I offered to send them a copy of the charges to my card that have clearly been deducted from my bank, Dan said no. You will have to handle it. Told me that there was no $25 charge!! Well they are lieing!! Wow!!!! I was in the restaurant business 30 years and I just cannot say how disappointed I am in this restaurant! WATCH OUT FOR THEM AND KEEP YOUR RECEIPTS!!!!More

The menu choices were very interesting and I was pleased to try something I had not had previously. The food did not disappoint! The service was excellent and I would highly recommend. (Make an advance reservation!).

We celebrate our Anniversary here because the food is delicious and the ambiance is superb. But Teddy was outstanding. She was helpful & polite!

The lobster rolls were good - the rest average - the service extremely poor - waited for a drink and then our meal - others surrounding us had to ask about the delayed food or the missing waiter - my friend and I ordered an...appetizer followed by a lunch course - the waitress commented - you ladies must be very hungry today. Something to be thought not said if in the restaurant business.More

This place was awful. I have no idea why it has 4 stars. The location is nice (on the boardwalk) but it has weird, dated fake Victorian decor that is neither charming nor trendy. It was bizarre. The food was borderline terrible and the menu...is limited and overpriced. Crummy steak on a salad and a lousy dessert, overpriced. I kind of had to force it down. Typical overpriced bad beach place. I would never come back here for any reason.More

My wife asked to choose Victoria's for lunch while we were at the beach. Although I wanted to try a different place, I agreed in order to please her. This time, we were seated inside. The issue this time was my order. I asked for...the TWO crab cake platter. We enjoyed coffee while we waited for our food. Our server then brought my lunch. He presented to me, however, only ONE crab cake platter. After correcting him, he returned to the kitchen. Then, yet a different server approached our table with the 2nd crab cake. At that juncture, both servers stood there, each with a single crab cake platter in their hands. I asked them to please have my lunch placed on ONE dish. They both stood there dumb founded, and then returned to the kitchen. One server did return with my lunch on one platter. Again communication 101 is surely missing here.More

While we were staying at the Boardwalk Plaza hotel, we ate several meals at the restaurant. We enjoyed the cream of crab soup, the ceasar salad, oysters on the half shell, the duck and swordfish (the catch of the day), several lunch sandwich options and...several breakfasts. The only thing I had that I did not think was worth the price was the seafood salad. Everything else was good and the service was wonderful.More
