The food is very good and the portions are Huge. The atmosphere is typical diner, but the brick walls are cool. The cook can be loud and sounds angry sometimes, so if you don't want to hear that, you should sit in the other room.

The portions are huge and the food is great. We got so much we had to both take some home. I highly recommend this breakfast spot.

Cute place, bigger inside then it looks, two rooms. Owner too loud, barking at wait staff. Wait staff also yell out from register- not a nice breakfast aura! A little professionalism would do wonders to make me go back!

Was recommended as a terrific place for breakfast by a fiend. They are only open for breakfast so hours are short. Arrived and there are plenty of tables so there was no wait. Waitress came promptly and took our drink orders. (Water, coffee and juice) Menus is extensive so be prepared. We ordered Lefty's, Western sandwich, oatmeal and bacon, egg... More

The Thread City Café has both the atmosphere of a local place and the service one expects at a diner; fast, efficient, well done. The portions, well the portions are Bunyonesque; too huge to contemplate. The eggs are always fresh, the potatoes well seasoned and omelets to hunger for. Andy, who runs the place does bark out the orders, giving... More

We've eaten here before and today my wife and I were treated by our oldest son to a post Father's Day breakfast. He and his wife like biscuits and gravy and I'd told him the Thread City Diner's was about the best I'd had. They didn't disappoint! My wife had an omelet large enough to last for two more breakfasts... More

My wife and I took my parents out to breakfast this past Sunday morning and it was WONDERFUL. The place was packed, but the service was awesome, the food hot and tasty, and the overall experience first class. The waitress took our order without writing it down, and the order came back perfect. Plus, the food came very quickly, and... More

Though we had something fancier in mind this was the only cafe open at the time so rather than waiting out in the cold we opted to duck into this establishment. The patrons were composed predominantly of college students and local residents. Most people were on the go and remained just long enough for a bite before returning to work... More
