Average meal, decent service. Good choice in a pinch. Nothing really to write home about. Raw bar a bit overpriced but chilled nicely. Fish suffers from lack of sauce. Would improve taste tremendously.

Day boat scallops were excellent. My wife's lobster was a little disappointing. You would expect that it would be a "select" grade with hard shell claws that were full of meat. It was not. The shell was thin and full of water. I had the whole belly clams and was very disappointed. The clams were very small. As a result,... More
Hi Tom- Thank you for dining with us. I am pleased that you really enjoyed our Day Boat Scallop entree! Thank you for your feedback. We will be more critical on our seafood suppliers when our fresh seafood arrives to ensure it is the best possible product. We have fresh seafood arriving daily and we do our best to ensure... More
Wait staff a little slow to start, but very attentive after that Food was fresh, well prepared, and plentiful Good value for cost
The food is good, I ordered the baked stuffed shrimp and it was delicious. However, the shells were still on the shrimp?! The tails are normal but not the shells. It was a mess to eat, thank goodness I wasn't on a date! That is my only complaint. The food was good besides that but I don't know if I... More
We had not been to Westbrook Lobster in a couple of years and decided to stop for lunch. We each ordered the appetizer mussels. They were very good, steamed in a kind of beer-tomato broth reminiscent of cioppino or boulliabaise. There was plenty of garlic toast alongside the mussels and our waitress also brought plain bread for my companion who... More
1st night had appetizers and beer - both excellent (clam chowder and steamed clams). All their beers on tap are local, and have a good selection. 2nd night had a fish dinner that was good and more beer (which is always good).
The food is ok. The restaurant is old and smells moldy. Its backed up to a river which may have something to do with the smell. My husband and I used to visit this restaurant at least a few times a year as it is right down the road from us. I was issued a Preferred Guest Rewards card 2x... More

I already spoke to your partner after (he posted his review on Yelp.com) and I have taken care of your unfortunate situation. Again, I apologize and... More
Comfortable atmosphere with great ambience. Outdoor dining areas look like they'd be fun in warm weather. Reasonable prices and decent portions. Enjoyed the CT Lobster Roll which is served warm. Definitely worth a return visit next time I'm in the area.
Westbrook Lobster has Happy Hour everyday, including Sundays.. They have a special happy hour menu and with a bar menu...its a small bite menu and so are the prices, the Cod, Oyster and Cheeseburger sliders are great. great place
