I don't eat here much but I really like it. It's cozy and pleasant, and the food is great. Now now they have a happy hour and a ladies night. Oysters on the half shell were scrumptious and a really clean and delicious chenin blanc.
My husband and I sat at the bar and enjoyed our meal completely. The bartender was friendly and very enthusiastic about the menu, eager to tell us about the entrees we were interested in. We'd definitely return. Wonderful food.
Flavor abounds at this local seafood staple. We had curried halibut and a scrumptious duck/scallop dish and both were worthy of a standing ovation. Water Street Cate will be the first place we come back to when we revisit Stonington.
