Brought my brother in law out with us for a Christmas gift. Nice cozy pub style atmosphere but the menu reads fine dining. We all darted off with a bowl of clam chowder which was really good. The guys had steaks, done perfectly. I had a tempura fish and veggies. Really nice and light but could of used a little... More

A very cozy, relaxed place with good, very prompt service and a nice ambience. The night we were there there was an excellent guitarist playing great standards at a very appropriate background volume. The food is interesting and well prepared, particularly the seafood. There are some quite amazing offerings including a long-standing favorite of duck and scallops. It sounded a... More

Great menu and active bar scene. Very friendly wait staff. In the hub of Stoninton Burroug. Casual dress and great food.

One of the best places for lunch and dinner in Stonington Borough. Dark and intimate inside with a lot of old school decorations. You can't go wrong ordering anything on menu and their house wines are very good. I'm from around here and it is one of my regular places.

First time here, me and my wife had lunch here today and was pleasantly surprised how good the meal was. I got the swordfish my wife got the rainbow trout and both were fantastic. I also got the sfd chowder but for!$7 bucks I didn't think it warranted that price.

My daughter & I went for dinner tonight, it is definitely going downhill fast. It was my 2nd favorite restaurant in Stonington but they hit new lows. My daughter's fluke was full of bones. My $22.00 Filet was 2 tiny pieces that looked like they came off someone elses plate. They were so small I thought they forgot the meat.... More

Our favorite place in the borough. Chat with locals and newcomers, enjoy the Holland Jazz band on a Sunday, always fresh seafood, oysters and clams.

This is a smallish restaurant but has excellent food. We go at least 3 times a year. A favorite place for our out of town guests,

Very good local, low key restaurant. The fish was fresh and cooked perfectly. Portions are large. Our server was pleasant and attentive.

On our last night in Stonington we decided to go to Water Street Cafe, and are we ever glad we did. My wife and I feel it's the best place in town to eat. Creative menu with fresh dishes. To start off we had some delicious shrimp cocktail and for entree, I had the Portuguese stew and my wife the... More
