We eat at Capriccio often before a movie. The food is always good. I can't resist the pasta with salmon in a creamy sauce!

Always great in good weather. They also have seating inside. Everything is fresh and well prepared. I love the seafood salad, My wife the grilled octopus. And they put up TVs for soccer games
Capriccio Cafe can take you right to Europe and make you feel as if you're dining on a sidewalk in Rome, not Stamford. The food is amazing; one of the freshest and most delicious places to eat in Stamford. The prices are incredibly reasonable and the service is good. The atmosphere is great, especially over the summer! For great, fresh,... More
Spring, summer & fall, we can very often be found at one of Capriccio's outdoor/sidewalk tables. The place is very popular. Luckily, they have a lot of tables under large umbrellas. Every once and awhile, we have to wait, but only for a few minutes. Although the menu is full of delicious sounding Italian choices, my wife and I always... More
Three friends and I had dinner here! We all had delicious dinners, chicken parmigiana and 3 different pasta dinners! All were very tasty! The restaurant was quite busy and our waiter did a nice job keeping up with the high volume! The only negative was the bathroom which you need to get a key and wait in a corridor!
Capriccio Cafe is my wife's and my favorite go-to restaurant in Stamford. My wife is from Italy and feels that Capriccio is true Italian food (as compared to what she often describes as Italian-American food). Is it not fancy, but rather consistently good quality Italian food at a very reasonable price. And in the summer time, it is a great... More
The bruschetta turned out to be chopped tomatoes on a pizza base. The tomato pasta was very decent with fresh flavorful tomatoes. The spinach vegetables side was drowning in oil. The pizza Bianca was ok but very heavy and doughy, it tastes of cheese and not much else. Setting is super casual with water served in plastic cups. The staff... More
After reading reviews and new to stamford. Some friends came to visit. Outside trendy sidewalk cafe. Food was a little pricy but good. The help needs to get organized and i blame the management. My wife and I both had salmon it came out and we sat there what seemed fo be forever (at least 5 minutes) before our friends... More
Pleasant restaurant with shaded tables outside. A little pricey If choosing from the main menu I thought but if you go during happy hour then some cocktails are only $5 and a selection of their dishes are only $5 too which is really great value. All 4 of our dishes were delicious. Staff very friendly too.
With so many restaurants in the area, you would think the service and the food would strive to be the best. my husband and I happened upon this restaurant while walking around Stamford, from an outsider we really liked the outdoor and open air seating that it offered. So we decided to stop. We were told to pick a seat... More
