The Gray goose is a hidden gem in Southport. We popped in for a drink and a little something to eat. Patrick behind the bar is clearly a much loved and respected bar man and in turn looks after his guests. All of the staff were attentive and the menu had something for everyone. My husband had the calamari which... More

Gray Goose never disappoints. Best spring rolls ever. Shrimp tacos my favorite but salads and burgers are also delicious.

Went here for lunch with my brother. The indoor portion seats about 60 and the outdoor enclosed portion maybe 20. We were in the "outdoor" portion but it was certainly warm enough on a cold day complete with a fireplace. The food was good - chicken dumplings; Iceberg Wedge; and Shrimp Tacos and plentiful. $56 for the two of us... More

While staying at the Delamar Southport for my father-in-law's funeral, we wandered across the street for dinner at the Gray Goose. It was so delicious and reasonably priced, we went back two more times with our family! The Brussels Sprouts were absolutely delicious! Actually, there wasn't anything that the 6 of us ordered that wasn't really tasty! Personally, I highly... More

We eat at the Goose a lot. We always have great meals with well thought out dishes giving a wide variety. Great atmosphere, fire places inside and out in the outer dinning area. The only problem are the heavy cigar and cigarette smokers in front of the entrance that stink you up on the way in. sometimes the smell is... More

I lived near the Gray Goose, and went to the restaurant many times. The food is excellent with occasional "especials". My favorites over the years were the scallops, and the excellent salads. The place can be noisy inside, as there is a lively bar, so sitting outside is better.

We were here on a cold night and ate at the bar. The room is warm and nicely lit by a huge fireplace. The bartender was very friendly. We had flatbread pizzas but the menu had a nice variety of choices. Good tvs if you are looking to watch a game.

But everything here is very good. I don't like the crowds and that's mostly why I only go here if someone else picks the spot, but they are excellent at what they do (which is why they are so busy). If you don't mind crowds it's a great spot.

Stopped here late night and were served excellent meal with attention to detail. Food was excellent with adequate portions. Nice variety on menu and a good bar scene late night for the 35 and over crowd.
