Really super food and service! Unfortunately, I don't live nearby so I've only been here once, but it really made an impression. I would say it's up there with the best pizza I've had in the area. Pizza is just about my favorite food and there have been days that I've had it for lunch and dinner. This one's a... More

We are fortunate to have this as a local restaurant because it's reliable and a good place to meet our friends. When you add salmon to a salad, it's a generous portion, nicely cooked. My husband enjoys their pizza - nice, thin crust. Service is always good. We also do take-out quite often.

We dine here several times a month. Its a staple in town. Excellent pasta dishes as well as great salads. The salmon there is cooked to perfection every time. Chicken and Veal Milanese are favorites as well. The pizza is truly wood fired with the oven and kitchen for all to see. Julio is almost always there making the pizza... More

Stopped for lunch after shopping in the area. Chopped salad was delicious and just the right size. Waitress attentive and pleasant. Stop in if you are near by. We would return if we lived closer by. Nice treat!

We were staying at an inn and wanted to take out something. We ordered from Julio's and brought home a wonderful pizza and salad to enjoy by our fireplace. Though the pizza got cold, it was delicious and the salad was so creative and tasty, too!

Tried the gluten free it was not good, one piece and threw out the rest. The regular crust was just ok, not great we have had much better at other places locally. The side salads had some brown lettuce and the tasted dressing was watered down. And the service was slow and they didn't seem to care about us. Will... More

This is the second time I've stopped in Southbury for lunch en route to the Berkshires. I'm always on the quest for good brick oven pizza. I was not disappointed either times and Julio's will be my go-to place on this regular journey. Food is excellent...pizza had fresh ingredients and cooked perfectly. The second visit there I ordered the mussels... More

I was raised on Wooster St, New Haven and Modern Pizza (and Bimonti's in my youth). The crust on Julios pizza is pretty good. The sauce was decent. Cheese is good. It's not New Haven but it's good for not New Haven. The price is pretty steep though. $50 for two (not very big) pizza's is rough on us. We... More

We had started the evening in another town at another restaurant for pizza. After being ignored for twenty minutes we came to Julio's. We were warmly greeted at the door, seated quickly, and our waitress Nicole was table side in minutes. It was delightful after the earlier cold shoulder. We enjoyed a side salad which was large enough for the... More
