This is yet another Southbury gem. From hotdogs and hamburgers to seafood the food is well cooked and delicious. This is an old fashioned "stand" but with a great selection and nice tables to sit at outdoors.

Love this place! Best cheeseburger and fries! You also need to try the fried clams and lobster roll. Took a friend in the middle of winter and sat outside. We enjoyed every bite. Can't wait to go back.

Th I s is literally a stand alone large shack that sells good food and great shakes and malts like the olden days. They have foot long hot dogs, burgers, lobster roll and plenty more. There are picnic tables or you can eat in your car. If your in the neighborhood it's worth the stop. They are closed the month... More

Denmo's sits on a fairly busy road, and you eat your meal at outdoor picnic tables (there's no indoor seating). The menu is pretty much what you'd expect from a basic New England roadside eatery (hot dogs, hamburgers, fried seafood, lobster rolls, ice cream) and the service can be spotty. My kids love to go there for a treat. We... More

While visiting relatives in CT, we expressed a desire for New England style fried clams. Along with fried shrimp, clams, and a fish sandwich, I ordered and ate the best lobster roll ever. I ordered it warm in a bun and it was "to die for." And so much lobster...! Everyone raved about the food. Now I know whey the... More

Went there last weekend and apart from being treated as an interruption to a conversation our order wasn't followed. The attitude was "This is what you get. Stop complaining. If you want to be treated well go to a sit-down restaurant. " Still, the chili was pretty good. The grilled cheese was okay. The chicken sandwich was just a disappointment.... More

I've dabbled in their menu and can speak intelligently on several items. I love Denmo's for the food, the atmosphere of being a traditional roadside eatery, and the broad spectrum of offerings. From whole belly clams and lobster rolls to hot dogs and cheeseburgers, they manage to do it all, and do it well. Their clam chowder is also excellent... More

Stopped in for a quick bite on my back from an event I had a cheeseburger and fries with a black & white shake. The burger is large but average. The black & white was not as good as many other places. A little high priced as well

Expensive. Flys. Dirty condiments. Sorry I had to patronize more than twice. Fries SUCK! The people taking orders are very nice. The food and wait time is not acceptable.
