This little diner is set back in a plaza, so if you aren't looking for it then you may pass right by. We are so glad that we found it, well we were on the hunt to find this place after we read the reviews. This place does NOT let you down. The inside was very clean but the decor... More

Been going here for years and I have never had a bad meal.Only serve breakfast & lunch and menu is pretty simple with a few daily specials. For breakfast it's always a Western omelette with home fries for me and lunch is either a hot dog with kraut or a turkey club.

Back in the old days when Caldor had an entrance by them you would have found the place, now there is no entrance to Walmart from this side of the shopping center. You have to know it exists otherwise you'd never find it. Food is old fashioned down home cooking.

breakfast is normal, nothing special, nothing new to the menu. Food is good and prices for what you get is a good deal. Lunch is about the same with the usual menu, nothing fancy but good. Restaurant needs updating and some fresh paint and new ceiling tiles, stained from smoke from years ago. Service is good and food comes out... More

Tucked away in the Old Saybrook Shopping Center it still amazes me after all these years in business how many "townies" and out of townies don't know the Courtyard. Open for breakfast and lunch you'll get a smaller basic set of menu choices but the food is very good, prices are reasonable and portion sizes are good. It's still a... More

Only negative is that the location is hard to find. It is located in the Stop and Shop Plaza at the opposite end tucked in to the far left of the backside of Homegoods, etc. Breakfast menu is straight forward breakfast fare that is served quickly and is very well priced. Various specials with omelet eyes, homemade muffins, etc. Worth... More

I have been going to the Courtyard Restaurant for years. One of the reasons I like this restaurant is the waitresses are just regular, everyday, type women. It is a very casual, comfortable place with very fast & friendly service & I think, delicious food. When you get your bill you will be amazed at how cheap it is. Myself,... More

The Courtyard Restaurant: The Best Breakfast in Lower Middlesex County, near Stop & Shop and Walmart. Every Sunday morning about 8:15 am, you will see us there. This is a very friendly spot with lots of people, who know that their dollar will bring them the best breakfast money can buy. Pancakes (plain or with fruit or walnuts), eggs, bacon,... More
