The best place for dinner and/or drinks in Old Lyme. A beautiful Inn style restaurant for a fine meal. A great place to gather with friends for delicious drinks (The Beast, my favorite) and small bites.

My wife and I celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary at the Bee & Thistle. The food was outstanding and so was the service. My wife had the pork and I had the lamb. Both meals were delicious! We always enjoy having dinner there for special occasions.

Warm, gracious staff and owner. Great cocktails and consistently excellent dining. We live nearby and go frequently and the Bee is only getting better. Relaxed ambience. Lovely.

The Bee and Thistle is one of our most favorite places! Not only have we enjoyed many terrific dinners here, this lovely and very charming place has been the site of family weddings, birthdays, baby and bridal showers. Excellent food, attentive service and laid back elegance make this Inn a special experience not to be missed

Ate in this restaurant while staying at the Inn. Food was very good; drinks too. Odd dining area - small main room, couple hallway type side rooms. I'd go back there again, and again, and again. Chef has been there a number of years; doesn't an outstanding job.

Had a lovely dinner with friends here. Staff was overly attentive. Had fabulous wine list. The presentation and flavor of the food was exceptional. Beautiful summer evening and we ate indoors. Outside dining is also offered.

Thank Shalynne
