Probably the freshest and best filet of sole sandwich I have ever eaten! While I did not get the fried scallops they looked great as well. Nice views, good service. Had to park a bit down the street but well worth it!
We've been going to Fred's for over twenty years since out son went to Mitchell College. Great inexpensive food and kooky fun, on the water atmosphere. We never miss a chance to visit every summer when we come to visit our son and his family!

I know they’re not the most nutritious but I get cravings for Fred’s Shanty hotdogs with sauerkraut every spring. Delicious! The burgers and fish sandwiches are also good. It’s a nice place to relax by the river on a sunny day.
Quick, authentic, delicious roadside/marina-side stand. Been there forever, crowded, because it's good food and a great local experience. The fish and fries were delicious, generous portion for lunch. I will definitely go back.
We went on Memorial Day weekend and had ice cream and a delicious hot dog it was fun just to relax by the water and enjoying old-time hot dog stand
