Stopped here for something sweet after having pizza at Pepe's. The cannoli's are very good. They are known for their Italian ice although we didn't have any that day. They only take cash. There's seating inside and outside on nice days.

We went there after dinner and ordered 2 cannoli; many different flavored toppings to choose from, but the filling was authentic and wonderful! Also ordered a lobster tail and it was huge, enough for two people.

My mom and I went into Libby's while my dad waited in line at Pepe's as we knew they would. E closed by the time we finished our pizza. Soooo happy we thought to do that! We got Pasticciotti and Sfogliatelle and they were both delicious!!! Wish we had gotten more. Even if you don't have any room left after... More

What can I say, like everyone else that has written a review, first you go for pizza then you go for dessert. Libby's has location but the pastry is not good. When you walk in and see most of the trays covered with plastic (before closing) you should get concerned. The cannoli selection is extensive but far from fresh. Go... More

Whenever I'm in New Haven, I first go to Pepe's Pizza for lunch, then Libby's for dessert. It's like yin and yang, you can't have one without the other. Seriously, the pastries are super fresh and delicious. There is seating if you wish to eat in, I usually take a box of pastries home. Try, you will enjoy.

A must stop after having Frank Pepe's next door! A wonderful selection of authentic made-with-love Italian cookies. Very pleasant and patient with me helping fill a box for a certain dollar amount. Kept helping me choose more to fill the box without getting impatient or rushing me. Cookies were delicious! Didn't try any pastry this time but they looked fabulous!... More

We stopped by Libby's Pastry Shop after having pizza nearby. We had several different cannolis and they were delicious the espresso was great. There are so many homemade things to choose from we were sorry we were so full from the pizza. This place has been here for ages and nothing ever changes, however, that is a good thing because... We stopped here right after eating at Frank Pepe's. My cannoli was a bit soft but really tasty. I had some lemon cookies that were out of this world. A great end of night dessert spot.
