Their coffee Oreo ice cream is the best. Ever. You can't go wrong with any of their flavors though. Fresh, wholesome and amazing.

A Yale friend told me we had to do Ashley's while we were in New Haven, so we took him up on it. Good ice cream, slightly outside the standard flavors of every other ice cream shop anywhere, which was good. The ice cream itself was very good. Loved my waffle cup, at least until we went outside into the... More

Stopped here on a hot August day to cool off. Ice cream was very tasty. I would recommend to anyone in the area if looking for dessert.

I really like this place. The price seems just fair, and they have a wide variety of flavors and toppings all the time. Definitely recommend it.

Yeah, well reviewed place. Was pretty quiet, in a plain strip mall, on a Sunday afternoon. But that Bittersweet chocolate was awfully good. And a big portion for a regular. Kid liked her soft-serve vanilla with Oreo crumbs, other kid liked his Mango Smoothie, and wife had a sugar-free Coffee ice cream, a rarity for her.

I'm sort of an ice cream connoisseur and love to try out ice cream places in the cities and towns we visit. Ashley's did not disappoint. It's a small shop so there is not a lot of seating, but they do the best they can with the space they have. It was really good icecream.

The ice cream at Ashley's is great! It is on the pricey side, but I guess that's the norm nowadays. I ordered the mint chocolate chip, which was surprisingly white, and the Nutella chip ice cream. Both were delicious.

A little gem in the heart of New Haven with yummy ice cream and delicious shakes! A plethora of toppings so you can customize your creation. A fun place to hit during the day or after dinner. You can order and leave or sit at one of the cafe tables in the front. When we have been there visiting, it... More

Ashley's seems to be the go to ice cream place in New Haven. Their ice cream is very good although it seems a bit pricey. They do have some unique flavors such as Nutella Chip which I wish I could find back home.

I was driving by New Haven and took a detour to go to supposedly the best ice cream in Connecticut. It was average at best. It was good, just not worth going out of your way for. There are definitely better places to go to such as The Creamery in Newtown or Richs farm in Oxford
