New Haven, and the surrounding area, has a number of options for Thai food. But a growing favorite of mine, for take away or sit down, is Rice Pot. The food is consistently delicious and the prices are reasonable. The restaurant may not be in downtown New Haven, but is worth the trip up State Street! I recommend the Hot... More

First time at Rice Pot and completely satisfied. One of the best Thai meals I've had in a while and a great find in New Haven! The restaurant has an extensive menu with a great variety. My boyfriend recommended the beef noodle soup ($12.95) and Duck Curry ($16.95) here and I was glad he did! Everything we had was amazing!... More

We had not been there in a while. So we went on a spur of the moment. We had the spring rolls and shared two entrees. One was the pad thai and I cannot remember the other one, but it was spicy and offset the sweet pad thai. Service was fine, my water glass was always filled.

Quality take out food in East rock section of new haven. I almost always go with the drunken noodles with shrimp or chicken. You can also get it with duck if you want. You can select your level of spice as well 1-5. Definitely recommend doing take out or uber eats from here.

I have heard horror stories about the service...but our experience was quite decent.Ordered the soft shell crab dish and a prawn dish. Was slightly pricey when compared to other thai places, but good portion size.It is in one corner of state st, so a bit hard to get there

Ok, I ordered Pad Thai, which I absolutely love and have had at many different restaurants in many different states. I started eating and it was actually pretty good, and then I saw it! I thought at first it was a piece of spice, so I pulled out my glasses. Really, really wish I hadn't. It was a small cock... More

I went to Rice Pot with a friend and her baby for a late lunch. Rice Pot offers a selection of lunch specials that are about $9. The food arrived quickly and hot. I had the vegetarian curry option and it was great!

Very good food made with fresh ingredients. We were a party of four getting three different dishes. All displayed fresh, high quality and hand cut veggies and meats prepared with respect for each ingredient.
