Yummy falafels and one of the best cheap eats in New Haven... if you like spicy - try their hot sauce - but maybe get it on the side - as it packs some super serious heat!

This is an old school New Haven institution. Great for vegetarians who like baba ganoush and hummus as well as falafel. The place is dark with little attention to decor but the food is a solid B+ and the bill was less than $15 for two. They do offer some meat dishes and the deserts looked great. If you are... More

I wanted to try Arabian Food in US. My son recommended this Restaurant & we went together. Place is nice & Cosy. The prices are reasonable & Portions quite large. We had Babaghonous Platter. A Starter made from roasted Egg plants. We also had Lamb mince Kabab & Lamb shawarma. Food is served with well made Pita Bread. Would recommend... More

Mamoun's is one of my favorite restaurants in New Haven, and my favorite place anywhere to get falafel. The food is always terrific and it's open late. This stop is usually a must for me when I'm in town.

There is a reason why this place has been existing for so many years. Also they are open when all the bars are closing, the perfect sober up food since they don't offer any alcoholic beverages. Being a musician it was always a pleasure to get something to eat after a gig having burned so many calories, every time Mamoun's... More

Love their Falafel. It is so delicious and is a real generous portion. The wait staff and owner are very accommodating. Their Baklava is out of this world!

This place was super cool! I really was able to relax and enjoy myself. I went with a friend and we were able to sit outside, eat Amazing falafel and smoke great hookah. The staff was very friendly and the environment is trendy and very cool, AND it's open until 3am 365 days a year. There's no reason not to... More

My wife was very happy with her falafels. I had the lamb over a salad. The salad was mostly lettuce. The flavor of the lamb and tahini was very good, but the quality of the lamb was mixed: some parts tender and some parts a little tough. The Mamoun's tea with a little honey is excellent. No alcohol.

We thought upon entering that the dive ambiance might be the sign of a unique and special place- a diamond in the rough. It was not. Service was fine but the food was very poor. Presumably aimed at the palate of a stoned college student, this place enevitably does a brisk late-night business. But in the light of day, with... More
