I have been to Zinc perhaps a dozen times, and every time I make sure to try something new. While I recognize that many of the claims of 'farm-to-table' freshness are as close to political promises before the election, Zinc really does their homework and fashions a menu that highlights seasonal locally-grown products, both vegetable and otherwise. My co-workers and... More

This is the restaurant I choose in the New Haven area for special occasions. The food & service is always top notch. I like the novel dishes, but not too crazy. Presentation is always beautiful.

I frequent this excellent restaurant. There are special deals each night of the week. Half price bar menu on Tuesdays and Thursdays are my favorite. I bring visitors to Zinc and hold group dinners there....never disappointed.

Every time we go the food and service is great. We don't go as often as we'd like but it is always consistently good. Which is the mark of a good restaurant. Some reviews you need to describe what you had and recommend specific dishes. Here it doesn't matter. It's all good. Again, mark of a good restaurant. Highly recommend.... More

Great burger with the most delicious roasted red peppers. But the highlight was my old fashioned with the black cherry for dessert. Go. Now.

This restaurant has been one of the most consistent places in the area for level of service and quality of food. The menu is attractive and interesting. Food is great and service prompt and professional.

Zinc was recommended as a good place to go for dinner in New Haven. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience. We were warmly greeted and seated at a cozy table for two. Our waitress was very attentive without being overbearing. We each ordered a glass of wine. Our entrees came out piping hot and delicious. I had the tuna and my... More

The food is very good, but the noise level at a reasonable dinner hour makes conversation near impossible: it is exacerbated by excessively loud music [from the bar?]. Still, the orzo dishes in particular show the care and flair that keeps us returning to Zinc. We will try to choose off hours in future so we can enjoy each other... More

Zinc, not to be confused with Kitchen Zinc, will leave you impressed. Whether it's stopping by for restaurant week, enjoying a happy hour at the bar, or catching up with a friend for dinner, this Mediterranean, Italian, American Bistro will satisfy your pallette. I opted for a bourbon and club soda accompanied by the Lettuce Wraps. It was a great... More
