Dinner was very good. Wine and cheese. Paella was delicious. Service was very good. For dinner it is a good choice.

I came here for Sunday brunch and I wasn't expecting very much because I really do hate olives and olive oil but I was nicely surprised there really was some very good food here and a great deal of variety as well

Love coming here for the drinks and the patatas bravas. Barcelona is the one New Haven restaurant that I think has consistently great service and rotating food. Must-go if you're visiting!

We visited again this place and had another round of excellent tapas. Their ham and cheese croquettes are excellent! They have a large variety of wines also. Very good service!

Hello Rowena, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. I would love to get more details on what kind of tapas you tried that made you feel as you were not getting enough food or the tapas seemed small. I am disappointed...More

Not as far as I know. From what I saw, I would very much doubt that the kitchen is kosher. Call them and ask.

Description
Barcelona New Haven opened in 2006 and is our largest restaurant in CT. Winner of the New Haven Advocate's "Best New Restaurant" and "Best Wine List," Barcelona is located next to the Omni Hotel in downtown New Haven just steps from Yale University. Here we have combined some of our favorite elements in a single location. A street level lounge overlooks a dining bar area with a stone fireplace. The sophisticated glass-and-steel dining room is framed by a 2000-bottle refrigerated wine cellar. The dramatic 80-seat private room is dominated by a larger than life, wall to wall, 30-foot mural of a Spanish bullfighter, and a 20-person chef's table, fashioned from a single walnut tree, borders the busy open kitchen.
