Stopped to visit on my way from Helsinki to Turku. A pleasant waterfront town to walk about with good views over the water. This cafe was on the square with parking near the tourist office and unassuming in looks it proved to be very friendly and tasty food. Many Swedes in this town. Those by me were local and loved it and happy to chat. Reasonable prices. An easy unpretentious stop over place to eat, snack or drink.

Good location and a good selection of traditional and modern pastries and some sandwiches too. Lots of lactose-free options. A cute and authentic little cafe. No lunch available when we visited but definately a perfect spot to enjoy something sweet or snack.

Right in the center of town, near tourist info and open market place. Big mug of dark roasted coffee. Notice: coffee is really hot. You choose and pay by the counter and take the coffee after payment from other side of the counter. Also tap water available.
I chose filled bread roll with ham and fresh vegetables (tomato and cucumber), it was really fresh. With coffee cost only 5.20 EUR. And I love the name :)

Very cozy cafe with possibilities to eat both something healthy or sweet. The food is absolutely fantastic! Nice atmosphere near the town square. On wednesdays and saturdays there is a market right outside the cafe where you can get fresh vegetables and fish from local farmers and fishermen.

On certain days there is a little market that takes place here, check with local times depending on time of year. Regardless it's a little cafe situations in square surrounded by some little shops. It's also just a short walk north of old town. Nice cinnamon buns, cakes and sandwiches. It also has an outside partially enclosed patio, nice for people watching.

I like to go for morning coffee and a newspaper to Carl de Mumma. Parking is good close to the place and the ooffe and the selection of breads is good.

They have the best "sämpylä" buns, italian coffee, heavenlytaking bakery. But the list is very small compared to any Helsinki coffeebars like this. We are a small town! Cosy central , by the city hall square. Now enclosed balcony for the rain

Carl de Mumma is by ar my favorite place in town to go for a coffee with my friends. They also have a good selection of sweet and savory things that are all freshly baked in their own bakery. They also take orders for cakes. I highly recommend the "house latte" which is a caffe latte with a little twist.

On the market square three was a very nice cafe Carl de Mumma. In addition to coffee I had a roll with salmon pâté etc and my wife had a fizzy and a three colour mouse cake. There was a good colourful selection.
It was clearly a popular place amongst the locals.

This is a nice spot to enjoy a cup of coffee or pastry. In good weather the patio seating provides a good place to watch the activity in the square. On Wednesdays, the day of the farmer's market, it is especially popular. Prices are reasonable and the selection of fresh pastry very good.

We went here for breakfast, they kindly open at 7 (the equally famous Old town cafe opens at 11) got ggod coffee, juice, sandwiches and shared a sweet pastry. Looking at all goodies my husband could not resist but took another sweet thing (second cup of coffee was incuded in the price). Everything was fresh and delicious, and the staff was helpful in describing the products. They also seem to have a good selection of beautiful birthday cakes ! Our plan is to buy more sweet souvenirs tomorrow when we leave the town.

I love the carl de mumma cafe in Ekenäs. I have never eaten anything less than tasty and delicious in this small cafe. They have pastries, paninis and cake pieces that go well together with a cappuccino or as i would recommend, the house latte. The prices are awesome compared to the products youre getting, high class fresh bakery delicacies
