I visit David Burke Prime once a year for special occasion dining with my husband. We are always lucky enough to get Stephen as our server. He is absolutely wonderful and always recommends the best steaks. There is no better steak than the steak at Prime. I recommend their creamed spinach as a side and clothes line bacon for an... More

We went for the Monday lobster special. A 3 course meal for $40 is not too bad for lobster but don't expect to get anything off the money without putting a hole in your wallet. $20 for bacon strips appetizer...$15 glasses of wine. The food was delicious and the service was great...not worth the price on a regular night.

Stopped by for dinner before a show. Huge wine list with a Sommelier on staff. Service was very good. Food was decent, albeit a little pricey. Sunday afternoon, so food delivery was a little delayed, but we made the show on time. Would return

We went here for a "work" dinner, where we had at least 15 people. In my experience, at a high end restaurant with groups of this size, we normally would expect to get 2 servers. We only had the one, and she was tremendously slow. There were separate bus boys for water and drink orders, but this didn't alleviate the... More

It's pricey, yes. However, if you want the best at Foxwoods, then you have to pay for fine dining. So, money aside, it's a superb restaurant. The decor at David Burke Prime is high end and trendy without being too pretentious. We visited on a weekday so we avoided any rush and had a relaxed and quiet dinner in the... More

We had dinner reservations and still waited almost 45 minutes to an hour to be seated. I would have gotten over that if it didn't also take another 30 minutes once seated to receive any service. We ordered a bottle of wine, waited another 15-20 minutes before someone came over to tell us they ran out of that wine. They... More

Unlike what some other reviewers are saying my experience at David Burke's Prime was a positive one. The wait staff (Steve & Amanda) were fantastic; very attentive. Steve did not steer us wrong with his recommendations. The bacon & blue cheese salad was AMAZING! Our porterhouse steak for two was cooked to our liking...everything was great. It is a bit... More

I visit Foxwoods at least 6 times a year.Have to tell you the food at Burke's is average at best-too bad the prices weren't the same way. A filet(average-with no side)shrimp cocktail, soup and 1 beer costs over $100 for 1 person! I've also brought a couple off people for dinner with me and my wife.Nothing fancy-and with tip-almost $500.Definetly... More

I was very surprised at how they handled reservations. I was made to wait even though everybody next to me got seated immediately even ones without reservations. It didnt sit right with me so I left and will try again today! How do you say Happy Birthday in one breath and then cater to everyone else then get mad because... More

Description
Celebrated Chef David Burke will bring his culinary expertise to Foxwoods Resort Casino, with the opening of David Burke Prime on July 9, 2008. All cuts of meat served at the restaurant will be imported directly from Creekstone Farms in Kentucky and dry-aged for 28 to 75 days in the restaurant’s in-house dry-aging room. In addition, David Burke Prime will offer thousands of bottles of premium wine from around the world. Located on the hotel level of Grand Pequot Tower in Foxwoods Resort Casino, the 13,000-square-foot steakhouse will seat 280 people and feature a 35-foot tall wine tower escalating up three stories to the casino level. In addition, the restaurant will include a 28-seat bar and 1,700-square-foot private banquet area, accommodating up to 100 people. Similar to David Burke’s Primehouse in Chicago, which was just voted Best Steakhouse in Chicago, David Burke Prime will feature an aging room with walls lined in imported pink Himalayan rock salt, crafted here in the U.S.
