The food is just great at this Tavern, Location is across the street from the Convention center. If your planning a special lunch in the Hartford area this would be a great choice.

The Arch Street Tavern is an eclectic venue offering diverse entertainment depending on the night of the week. We are jazz fans & go every Monday night to enjoy good drinks, a delicious meal &, best of all, listen to the Hartford Jazz Orchestra directed by the fabulous & talented Don Trennor. We have been going weekly for 3 months... More

Stopped in for lunch during a convention. Easy walk from the convention center. Not too busy at the time - most people at the bar not tables. Bartender pleasant. Best reuben sandwich I have ever had. ever.

My husband and I stopped in here before going to dinner at Bear's Smokehouse next door. The place was pretty empty for a Friday night around 6:30, but they were setting up for a band that was coming later. Our bartender was very friendly - talking about some of the beers on tap. We didn't order any food since we... More

For some of the best tasting chili in the Hartford area this is the place to go. The service is very good. The building was a former carriage factory and has a real cool ambiance in a nicely redone classic structure. Cool bar, nice booths and a great place to relax.

This will be a two for one review. My wife and I went to the CT. flower show at the convention center and after we wanted to get a late lunch early dinner and had planned to go to Bears BBQ, when we walked in the place was busy and we saw that it is cafeteria style which we hate... More

If you are looking for a low frills, comfort food spot for lunch, this is it. Service is always friendly and fast, and the food is what you would expect, simple lunch standards with generous portions.

I stopped in for a beer and a bite to eat with colleagues after work. The beer selection was pretty good with about 25 on the menu. The food was typical pub fare, good if not great. This is a big pub, with a large bar, and many table spread out over a sizable space. There was a stage set... More

The tavern opens at 11:30 and we were ten minutes early, the door was open and they were happy to sit us. Service and food was good and hearty, just what we needed for a business lunch. Great thing about this place also is that is has it's own parking lot, a definite plus. Atmosphere was nice, renovated as a... More
