You sit on tree trunk logs which also provide bases for the red table tops. The smell of the grill is wonderful and the food is fresh and is priced well. Good for all the family and you can walk next door for yogurt if you have any room left.

Bring some extra sides, as a vegetable kabob and grilled corn is it. Lobster, Clams, Shrimp, Chicken.....grilled up right there. Pull up a stump and the wait staff comes to you. Everything we had was fantastic. Juicy chicken, whole lobster, clams on the shell, and the corn....wow. This is BYOB, so bring a cooler!

You are seated outside at a dirty table. The friends we were with brought wipes and you cannot believe how black they got wiping the table. You then sit on tree trunks. They cook everything over a very long open barbecue the constantly sends ask into the air that lands on you, your food or in your drinks. The prices... More

A very unique place to eat. You bring your sides and your alcohol and you choose from a variety of seafood and steaks. It is all cooked over a wood fire and served outside under a tent, great place to go with a group of friends.

You bring your rump and sit on a stump at a table. Theres a large fire pit in the middle of all the tables and clams, lobster, corn on the cob, steak, chicken, are all cooked on an open fire out side. Boy, I really enjoyed it.

Everything is grilled over a fire. Great for summer but a little cold any other time of year as it is entirely outdoors. Bring your own vegetables and such as there are only really meat and seafood options.

Phenomenally simple, yet AWESOME. Since 1971 The Place has been serving up a simple short menu - in a simple, cool outdoor spot. Wonderful #clams casino and #LOBSTER - make sure to bring in your own appetizers, munchies and drinks and it is just plain simple fun, fun fun!

We've been going to The Place for decades. Everything is cooked on an open flame pit and is delicious. Clams, mussels, lobster, steak, and don't forget a couple of ears of corn on the cob!
