We had been here once before and had a good experience, so we went back. We were promptly taken to a table, but there was bread crumbs on both of our seats, so we asked to have them cleaned. The person said, "We don't usually clean the seats..." and then went on to explain that most customers don't want to... More

Old School coffee shop popular with locals, many of whom have had breakfast (outstanding) or lunch here for 30 years! This place is no trendy, expensive flash in the pan - it's friendly, food is great and very quickly prepared and served! Great service by friendly, efficient wait staff. Besides tables and booths it has an old fashioned counter where... More

Walked in and waited to be seated. Seated after about a 5 minute wait. Waited another 10+ mintes for a server. No one came...we left. I can't rate the food since we never had the opportunity to get any.

If you are looking for a good, quick, friendly breakfast the Glastonbury Coffee Shop is for you. Nothing fancy but great service and nice prices here. Your food will arrive shortly after ordering and I'm sure it will be served with a smile. The entire waitstaff is very pleasant and accommodating. Give it a try. You won't be disappointed!

Places to eat breakfast are limited in Glastonbury and we are sure glad we found The Coffee Shop. Small, but great eats and super service. Everyone seemed to know one another and the waitresses interacted with all the patrons! Very reasonable and good food. Will go back again!

Staff is alert, prompt and consistent!! Their breakfast sandwiches are tops!! Bacon, egg, cheese and power peppers on a real nice grilled roll. Great for those long days where you might not have time for lunch. Very satisfying!! Thanks GCS for being such a great service to the community!!!

A little old school luncheonette that makes a kick-butt BLT... They are open for breakfast and lunch. That's all I've got to say...

You always get your money's worth at the Coffee Shop. Family owned and run probably for 30 years, they get the food out as fast and as well as is possible. Prices very reasonable. Coffee excellent. Nice, nice people.

I often ate here in the early 90's when I was working in Glastonbury and have recently been back several times. The owner's son has taken over ownership but other than that it's the same! Great breakfast, great service! The staff is so friendly and remembers us everytime we come! I especially love the cheesburgers and fries. Burgers are just... More
