Good prices for the meal. The falafel sandwich was average size and a bit dry. The tabouli was very good! However, we still like Halal guys in New Haven better.

Great food! Love their schwarma wraps and pita! Small place but has great charm. Owner's brother owns the one in Stamford.

I encourage everyone to go to this place! The food is absolutely delicious and everything is home made (not from a can). The meat is very flavorful, especially lamb. Hummus is finger licking! The owner was very kind and funny, so we felt welcomed. The prices are reasonable (paid around $15 each). Definitely coming back soon!

Yes there is plenty of garlic but Layla's never fails to please. Chicken Shawerma is the best. Fast, efficient service.

Though there are a few tables, I regard this more as fast food/take out. Layla's makes the best falafel sandwich, especially spicy. Also, the hummus is amazing and the homemade pitas are terrific. If you're after a quick bite, this is a wonderful alternative to traditional American fast food.

The place is great. Food is excellent and the price is right. Staff is exceedingly friendly and helpful. Straight out of Anthony Bourdain. We'll be back!! We had the Arabic Shawerma which was excellent. Turkish coffee was hot and strong.

We have taken people from Manhattan here who claimed they liked holes in the wall. They didn't like the spartan no-frills atmosphere that we appreciate. Check it out and take the food out if you need Zagat decor. But don't miss the great food. They make Kibbeh that owner Dino acknowledges is more expensive, but it is hand made each... More

Been a faithful diner at Layla's since they opened in Fairfield and have had pretty much everything on the menu. Everything is delicious, and freshly prepared by the friendly staff. I particularly enjoy the chicken shawerma wrap and the falafel in pita, babaganoush, and hummus, but you can't go wrong at Layla's.

The meat was a little overcooked but it was still good. The hummus was amazing. Unfortunately the place is a little unorganized. We placed a take out order and went to the car to wait. When we went back in a little while later they had lost our order (or never submitted it).
