Rawleys is without question a fantastic stop for the old time favorite 'Drive In' staples: Hamburgers, fries and most importantly Hot Dogs. I made a quest here years ago when the were spotlighted on 'Food Network's "Best Thing I've Ever Ate" '. This past weekend I returned with my best friend (my wife) and took full advantage of all Rawleys... More

I can't say enough about the great flavor that comes with every bite from a Rawley's dog with the works. If you don't mind a little kick, get their hot relish on your dog. The slightly buttered bun just adds to the experience and taste. The only thing I would say is that I think they are a little pricey.... More

Rawley's is a 'staple' in Fairfield. It has the best hot dogs, burgers and fries around and its been around for the 41 yrs that I've been living here! Its just a little place right on the Post Rd. It does have a 'counter' where you can sit and eat. Great place to just stop and have a good bite... More

my teenage son and I have been seeking out the best hot dogs that we can find where ever we travel. we wanted to like this place, it has a funky fun vibe, and loads of reviews. We decided to go for table service and were greeted quickly, everyone there seemed to be very friendly and helpful. we ordered two... More

I have been a huge fan of Rawleys for over 40 years!!!!! I still love the place and always will. The burgers are splendid and I love it when the waiter doesn't flinch when you say heavy bacon cerca 1980s style!!!! The newer addition of the spicy jalapeño relish rocks it out of the park. The prices are still from... More

My husband grew up in Fairfield and had been a devoted Rawley's customer for decades. Apparently the ownership has changed and the brand of hot dogs sold as well. While the "works" hot dog looked like we remembered it just didn't live up to the taste test. My bun seemed sate and looked like chunks were missing. Its really a... More

We were so excited to try the famous hotdogs after seeing them on Food Network and Martha Stewart. I knew the place was small but it was a little smaller than it looked. The wait was ok since your food is supposed to be cooked fresh. We tried 3 different hotdogs, the works with mustard, relish, kraut and bacon. The... More

A place I've been going to since I was a teenager and that was many years ago. Still go there for a hot dog w/ the works and bacon, french fries and a chocolate shake. Great comfort food.

After seeing an episode where an iron chef visited this place giving it rave reviews, I decided to try it. The place was dead, and the two people were sitting around on their phones. They finally got up, took my order. Then after placing my order were engrossed in texting or something on their phones. I received my order which... More
