While I was in Fairfield for a quick visit, I decide to stop by this bakery after I found it featured on a website and it's description sounded very inviting. I had a croissant there and I got a couple thing to go - coconut macaroons (which were huge) and a strawberry vanilla cake (can't remember it's name). All products... More

Tried this place for the first time this week and it completely disappointed. The chocolate croissant priced at around $3.75 was good but had very little chocolate.. This piece had around 2-3 chocolate chips in it. The hot chocolate was very overpriced as well. We expected good french hot chocolate from this place but the hot chocolate tasted exactly like... I bought a plate of Christmas cookies to for an afternoon Christmas tea. I balked at the price $30 but I was in a pinch and had no time to look around. The cookies were beautifully wrapped but the cookies were good but wouldn't pay $30 again. now I know. plan ahead.

I went here to grab some stuff for a family event. I was very disappointed I purchased a cake and it was very dry. The outside looked amazing. However when we cut it it was just dry and frankly very disappointing for me and my family. I really expected much better for a place with their reputation and the prices... More

Hands down the best bakery I've ever been to. Beautiful establishment in every way. Unbelievable macaroons, pastries, tarts, breads and chocolates!

I've not been here in more than a year and happily report it's still the best French bakery this side of the Atlantic! A bit pricey, but great quality is worth every penny. Thankfully, my wife talked me out of stopping at DD's to satisfy a sweet tooth urge ( after a great lobster roll we just had further south... More

Awesome array of elegant desserts. I bought multiple desserts for a birthday celebration. They were delicious. Plus I got lunch while I was there. Again delicious!

Bakery cafe close to the middle of Fairfield with easy parking and comfortable communal seating makes this a pleasant place to rendezvous. The surprise, however, was that the croissant, almond croissant, and pain a chocolat were disappointingly dry and far from the quality one enjoys from, say, Balthazar in the city or even a small cafe on the outskirts of... The best french bakery around. Always a huge selection of baked goods and their own mouth watering chocolates. You will not be disappointed.
