If you remember back to when you were a kid and the butchers and delis were small mom and pop stores. The food is great and it reminds me of old times. Dont pass it by

My husband and I chose The Old Country Deli to hold our wedding ceremony and reception, on 8/14/15 and we couldn't be more happier with how our day turned out! The Deli is really a hidden gem, as the location is in a neighborhood and the wow factor is when you walk into the hall. The wavel hall is huge!!!... More

My wife and I chose the Old Country Deli as our wedding venue. We had both our ceremony and reception in the Wawel Hall located within the venue. We chose this venue for many, MANY reasons including: The Location. The venue was very central for the two of us, as most of our families would be commuting from both northern... More

Their food is excellent ! Their service and attention to their customers is also excellent ! It's the kind of place that seems to really care about how their food tastes to you. It is so very good. It may not look very elaborate from the outside, but don't make the mistake of passing it by. Stop and eat, you... More

The Country Deli is right off RT 5 on Alden St, and tucked away in a residential area. Take the time to seek it out and you won't be disappointed. I cooked Polish food for decades but now that I have tasted nearly all of their food selections, I leave the cooking to them. The pierogi varieties offered are plentiful... More

I wandered my way in here one day and was so pleasantly surprised. There is no rival to the quality and service that is offered at this place. The hall spaces are well maintained and absolutely beautiful; and that's just the first plus for this particular family owned business. You walk in; you are family. You are greeted with smiles... It starts with the friendly, helpful young woman who greets you. I purchased a coupon to try this place on Living Social. I was skeptical;but was won over. The food,(Pierogi's,Galumpki's,and the Kielbasa soup were the best I have ever had!! Went back the next day with my girlfriend. She loved it too.I bought food to go as well. Don't be deceived by... We visited the Old Country Deli on a recent trip to CT. It's a small, hole-in-the-wall place - nothing fancy to look at. But man is the food terrific! They advertise 20 some-odd varieties of home made pierogies & they had about a dozen different types on-hand when we visited. I got an order of 4 cheese pierogis & was... More

Not a busy place. They survive buy making high end expensive all natural food. They sell mostly to other restaurants and gourmet shops that care about this things. I don’t know what they are still doing in Enfield, they should move to Boston or NY. It’s the only artisan food store in this region that I know. They cook everything... More
