It was the favorite place of my buddy. He tried an awesome omelette with vegetables and sausages. We had enjoyed our short stop at Whistle. I would love to be there again. Hopefully, one day...

We had passed this small restaurant many times and I finally looked it up then we went for breakfast. It is compact-and there is a pretty back section outside we had not realized was there-cooking is done behind a counter so you could watch or eat at the counter and drool till your food came....supplies neatly stacked on shelves visible... We haven't had a breakfast this good since we left the Bay Area a year ago. This place is a real gem

I have been here twice and every time I am floored by the outstanding service and "to die for" food. The place is small which I love. It gives you that warm and welcoming feeling. You can sit inside, at the counter or outside in the back covered patio. Our server Connie was so kind, friendly and a true class... More

Although it is tiny, it is a great foodie place, especially for breakfast. The eggs benedict are wonderful, with fresh spinach, always a plus. All of the food is home made and you can see it being cooked in the open kitchen. Worth a visit.

Found it while googling a local restaurant after visiting the Lilac Pond Farm in Killingworth. The name caught my eye and the ratings were very good. Thought we would continue our adventurous day. Pulled up across the street from this little tiny homelike building with the sign Whistle Stop Cafe so we knew we were in the right place. Totally... More

The portland benny was hands down the best eggs benny I have ever had. The green sausage was also very good. Highly recommend.

Small but cute. Friendly wait staff and a huge selection to choose from on the menu. Usual cost $11-14 without coffee. Has trivial pursuit questions to keep you entertained while you wait for food.
