Nice scrumptious Hungarian comfort food, wonderfully prepared, reasonable. Traditional Hungarian Goulash Soup was delicious and served in a cauldron. Really good, tastes authentic. Try also very delicious Transylvania Goulash, (more like a Pörkölt (stew). ). Simple but ample salad bar with pickled cauliflower. reasonable prices...More

The food was outstanding. No fancy plating, just beautifully prepared meat and veggies with potato dumplings. Don't know how they make the veal schnitzel so light and thin. I can't wait to go back. The food was excellent and very well priced, though inexpensive it...More

A hidden gem that will make you feel at home. Don't read a book by its cover, get in the door and give it a try, you won't be disappointed.

We came close to closing but owner said to come ahead . We tried, veal cutlet, pork chop, and goulash with cabbage rolls for appetizers. All were large portions, well seasoned and fabulous!

I met a business associate here for lunch as I hadn't been here for many years. It was quiet and the owner waited on us. I had the meatloaf and my friend a vegetarian dish. Both were excellent and had plenty of food.

I travel to Danbury several times a year for business and tended to go to the same restaurants each visit. A few years ago I decided to expand my horizons and did some online searching for something more interesting. As someone of Hungarian descent, I...More
