The food and establishment are very good. Service is also very good. The portions are nice sized and the choices are extensive. Good place for any meal of the day from breakfast to dinner!

Met a friend for Saturday brunch and was looking forward to breakfast. I've been there once before and found the food to be just what you expect for a diner. I was impressed that we were seated right away as the parking lot was filled to capacity and people were still driving in. The joint has ample room to accommodate... More

I've been to Elmer's many times over the years. It is a very solid diner with a wonderful staff. Elmer out one of his family will greet you with a smile, the pastries and desserts are made in premises, there are plenty of tables and counter seats and while it does get busy on weekend mornings, the wait is rarely... Honestly the best diner I've been to in the greater Danbury area. Unbelievable service and food that tastes like you made at home. Elmer runs a very efficient kitchen and his team always super friendly

Went here for breakfast . Placenproydky adveryised using healthy oils such as olive oil. After tasting my home fries and eggs I quickly caught on they were using the chemically enhanced butter flavored oil called " phase". It tastes terribly artificial and not healthy. Shame shame for false advertising. Consumers are smart these days and know what is in their... More

My friend & I had lunch there. The owner greeted us with a big smile and then seated us. We were brought a salad, complimentary, while we looked over the menu. Good food, good value.

Traveling through Danbury and tried this place for dinner. Amazingly large menu, something for everyone. Prices were reasonable and portions were large. Service speedy.

I have eaten at Elmer's Diner a number of times and have never been disappointed. The building itself is strictly "Greek Diner" architecture and design, but don't be put off by this. Two nights ago I stopped in for dinner by myself. I ordered the Baked Stuffed Clams. They arrived steaming hot on a bed of perfectly cooked linguini. The... More

On our visits to Elmer's we have felt that the food was average. It is basic diner food. The pancakes and french toast are good, not great. The waitstaff was friendly and competent. It is a convenient location to grab breakfast or lunch. It is better than fast food alternatives and an okay environment for family.
