Great bakery, although I've never tried the table service. The scones are buttery and flaky, the turnovers packed with fruit without being overly sweet. Worth a quick stop if you're traveling route 7.

The Blackberry River Company offers innovative and very tasty fare. For vegetarians there are some excellent salad offerings while meat eaters will find a variety of appetizing lunch entries not available elsewhere locally. Breakfast menu is enticing. Service is friendly.More

Honest to God, 11 on a weekday morning and almost deserted. Waitress pours a cup of coffee, brings a cinnamon bun, and then disappears. Not true: she was in plain sight, talking to her colleagues in the kitchen. And talking. And laughing. And talking. My...More

Juleschild, Sorry to hear about your cinnamon bun! They are, in fact, made fresh daily (yesterday's buns are pig feed for a few local farmers) and they are made from scratch from our brioche dough, which is firmer on its edges then some other types...More

We ate here twice during our short stay. Sandwiches cost about $9-10 and are very delicious! Recommend the bagel with cream cheese and lox. The turkey club was good also.
