Old time food that satisfies at moderate prices. Beware of lots of fried food. Excellent and fast service.

We stopped on our annual holiday road trip from Boston to PA. It was time for second breakfast. We easily grabbed a booth and tucked our kids into pancakes and bacon. Each little girl ate a whole side of bacon (6 strips)! The pancake was huge. I ordered a bacon & cheese omelet, which hit the spot. The service was... More

The food was ok. Diner food. Burgers were flat but tasted good. I would definitely recommend the double burger if you are hungry. Portions are small compared the prices you pay. Walked out of lunch with my husband and 2 kids and spent $50 not including tip. Could have gone to our hometown diner and received more for $35.

I always feel like I am stepping back in time when I eat at Sycamore Drive In. The meals are old fashion great meals be they sandwiches, fries or shakes. We often stop in after seeing a movie across the street. If you enjoy nostalgia, treat yourself and drive to Sycamore Drive In.

This gem of a restaurant was started in 1948 and hasn't changed since. With it's 1950s Coke machine donning the curb outside and globe gas pumps inside, this is a must stop for those looking for a quiet, quirky, charming place to grab breakfast. The coffee is strong, the food delicious and staff warm. Highly recommended.

I get it -- if you grew up eating here, it's got to be a real treat to come back and relive the experience. But for those of us who did not, it's a plain jane, out-of-date, could-have-had -the same-meal-from-a-frozen-box-of-food-from-Costco. This is one of those places where you eat once and then you're done, unless you have kids and want... More

This place has been here for over 50 years, essentially unchanged. The atmosphere really brings back the past, in the nice small town of Bethel, where the Main St. (Greenwood Ave) has NOT been taken over by chain stores. We have managed to keep much of what is nice about a small town here, and the Sycamore is part of... More

The original Sonic-type drive-in, car-hopped up and serving mainly burgers and dogs. I have seen the awards this place has gotten for years and decided to go. The interior is very much like other diners that devote a wall or two to James Dean, Elvis and the like, even though it actually predates them both...juke box, black-and-white checked linoleum floor,... The Sycamore Drive-in has been around for decades and remains a reliable, inexpensive and fun place to eat. From their homemade root beer ( the best I've ever had!), to their burgers, fries, hotdogs, and everything else on the menu, it's a great place to eat and visit. The decor is authentic fifties, not the very popular retro-fifties of many... More

I have been here many times and while the food is good it certainly not better than many other places.I feel a lot of the people like the atmosphere and as a result transfer those feelings to the food. For example I think there is plenty of room for improvement in their hamburgers and the chilli is just ok.Again the fries...
