Since the restaurant in our hotel was closed for the season, the front desk guy recommended Rise and Shine bakery. Upon entry we didn't know to seat ourselves or what.. so we just chose to sit at the bar. They only had two people working out front, so it took a bit to get waited on. Overall seemed a bit... More

The food is pretty good here - usually worth the wait on Saturday mornings! Very little seating, but they have outdoor seating in summer.

Big portions and great bagels. Everything was very fresh. We were there early and at that time didn't have to wait.

Food was fabulous! Homemade pastries are a must. The hot chocolate is fit for king or queen. Our waiter was delightful. Even the owner came to talk to us- so friendly. I will be back with girlfriends in 2 weeks!

Have been coming here over several years. Food always good, waitstaff always friendly. Last couple of visits they've been under staffed, harried and the food poorly presented and overlooked. Baked items are still great but customer attentiveness has gone down (exception: older waitress works hard and is attentive).

Vegetarian options we tried here were the open-faced focaccia sandwich and the grilled cheese. It was good, satisfied our hunger, but wasn't amazing. Maybe some fresh greens would have helped? I did like that the grilled cheese bread was homemade and sliced thick! I would try again for breakfast. Service was great--very pleasant and helpful servers.

We stopped at this hidden gem on our way back to Denver to catch a plane home and all I can say is that it was the perfect ending to a fabulous family vacation! The cinnamon roll is huge and oh so good. Their hot chocolate was just what we needed to warm up from the single digit temps. Everything... More

We ordered breakfast burritos by phone for a large group. The burritos were huge and delicious. Everyone really enjoyed. My son who eats breakfast burritos all the time said it was the best breakfast burrito he has ever eaten.

I love this place, my first visit was for the delicious baked goods: turnovers and the sourdough bread. BUT after seeing the menu we returned for breakfast. All 3 of us ordered differently: ALL were supurb# Crab cakes benedict, corned beef benedict, and fluffy Hugh pancakes. I'd suggest you split....huge plates of food.

This was our 2nd time at the rise and shine bakery. The service was good. The pancake platter is enough to share with 2 people. The prices were reasonable. I will definitely come back
