This is a lovely restaurant BUT the food is overrated. The service, let's just say aloof. They seemed to make us feel like we didn't belong there. Will not return.

We finally were able to dine at this restaurant, with reservations always being at a premium. The Brussels Sprouts, olives and bruschetta were great starters as we enjoyed our cocktails with home made sour dough. Entrees were stone bass, salmon, chicken and the onion and fig pasta. While this is a top Culinary restaurant because of the fusion of spices... More
I've eaten here twice the last 10 days. Both times were good, but not completely perfect enough for 5 stars. First time the food was a little cool, but not cool enough to send back. It was nice though. Had the wagyu (very good) and the agnolotti. Service was excellent - well done Tasha. Second time the food was excellent.... More
We come here on almost all our visits to Vail. It is consistently good food with great staff. There specials are always something great to try.
We wandered in off the street on the early side of the evening. All the tables were booked for the night but we had only a short wait before being shown to very nice seats at the bar. It was a great way to enjoy this hot spot on short notice.
I have been going to Sweet Basil Christmas week for the last dozen + years. I never have been disappointed. The servers are wonderful and the food is the best in town.
This small restaurant in the center of town serves light snacks and salad for lunch and solid dishes for dinner. Very friendly and professional service, excellent food and decent wine list. A very pleasant guestroom with big windows, a bar and some cozy booth make this a winner. Went two times in 4 days....
Last night we went for dinner, the place is beautiful and the ambiance is good. The food presentation it's amazing but the taste is not that great. I order the chicken and it was nothing special. I recommend to go for lunch instead.
