Service was awful. The food was even worse. The worker brought out the wrong food and then argued with us about it. Horrible. Don't waste your money! !!

If you don't mind climbing up the steps of the Vail Transportation Center and eating in the bus station, La Cantina may be the best Mexican restaurant in Vail. It's where the locals eat.

Located in the transportation center - it's a little like eating at the mall. Nothing fancy. Order at the counter. Service was quick. Servers were polite and nice. Food was pretty good, price was great - under $10 for lunch in Vail Village. Had chicken enchiladas ( all white meat), fresh, and very good. Lunch even comes with free chips... More

Authentic, delicious, priced right! Great enchiladas and tacos!! Salsa bar. Easy take out solution. Small space inside transportation center, super informal, not a lot of atmosphere but simply great Mexican food!

For those that appreciate unpretentious service and value, this is a gem in the capital of skiing pretence. Walking in and seeing a couple of dogs sitting at a table with a family disarmed us immediately, (something that you can't see in Aus as they are not allowed). Great value food, quick service - and its in the transport/carpark terminal.... More

La Cantina is the best inexpensive Mexican food in Vail. I get the burritos because they are a great size. The chips and salsa are great they have a salsa bar with five different kinds all super good. Order at the counter and they bring you your food. Cheap drinks. I once saw J T eating here.

Got an early dinner take out from la cantina and was very happy with my meal. The service was friendly and fast, and the menu had plenty of choices; there was a nice little suggestion page for the gluten free and vegetarians. I ordered something along the lines of 'El gringo grande' burrito, which described itself as the choice for... More

In the 2nd floor of the transportation building. Easy to grab food on your way to or from the mountain. The portions are (too) big. It's an excellent grab and go where you feel like you got your money worth.

I love this place. Everything from the tacos to the burritos are outstanding! The salsa bar is fantastic and unlimited! Margs are delicious and refreshing! The best part about this place is the price!! Very reasonable for Vail. This place is always pretty packed, and there is no table service so you have to go up to the counter for... More

You would never expect a place in a bus station would be able to provide such delicious food but this place delivers. The ceviche, burritos, guacamole and tacos were some of the best we have ever had. Such a delight!
