Have stay at this campground 3 times this year. Absolutely awesome in every way. Beautiful, clean and outstanding owners. Go, relax and enjoy!

Everyone in town recommended this restaurant and the word on the street was truth! This trendy little restaurant is tucked in the middle of Vail Village near a trickling stream surrounded by Aspens. It didn’t matter that we were just popping in for mid-afternoon snacks...More

We selected three appetizers at the bar and enjoyed them all. One was roasted cauliflower, another scallops perfectly prepared and the third was brussel sprouts. A little pricey, but well worth it.

Do stop by to enjoy the fabulous food in a fabulous atmosphere. I loved being seated by the huge open kitchen and watching the chefs work. It really made me enjoy the art of cooking. The presentation is beautiful as well

Great setting overlooking the river in Vail. It was too cold to sit outside, but next time I will come in the summer. Service was very good and the food competent. The salads were ample, although I was disappointed with the portions on the signature...More

Very popular dining spot. We had a fabulous dinner and can highly recommend the King Salmon & Rotisserie Chicken. It was jammed and we were lucky to get seats at the bar to eat. A must in Vail Village!

Foodie friends! You must try Mountain Standard. I know that everyone has different taste buds, but if you get the same cooks who made our food during our visit, you're in for a treat. On a Friday night, we ordered the biscuit, shrimp and grits,...More

I would doubt it if they could handle a large group. It is a very busy restaurant in a tight space.

From the creators of the legendary Sweet Basil in Vail Colorado, comes a fresh, innovative new restaurant. Aptly named Mountain Standard, this rustic and relaxed tavern aims to set a new standard in the Vail valley by using an ancient form of cooking. The majority of Mountain Standard’s menu is prepared via the most primal cooking method: over an open and live wood fire. The only restaurant in the valley to devote themselves to this age-old way of cooking, the food at this exciting new restaurant has rustic, bold and honest flavors, focusing on the purest ingredients in the Rocky Mountain region and beyond.Service, like the cuisine, has that perfect balance of providing a first class dining experience with a more casual vibe. There is no smoke and mirrors here – no fuss – just simple, honest, from the heart service and cooking. The beauty of the creek side location is mirrored by the high energy vibe of this dynamic restaurant. It is this energy, outstanding service, and hand crafted food that enables Mountain Standard to offer a truly unique dining experience, approachable and enjoyable to everyone.
