Not sure if they've gone downhill or it was just an off day...maybe storage is such that the cupcakes dry out by afternoon (and the selection wanes by then?). Spendy prices demand higher quality. Staff was nice. Tiny shop.

Happened to stumble across this store during an afternoon stroll through Vail village and I am so glad to have tried it out. Ordered the raspberry cupcake , German chocolate cupcake and coconut macaroon and boy were they good. The icing is not overtly sweet and done just right making it one of the best cupcakes I've eaten. We went... More

I had such a great experience here. When you walk in, my olfactory senses were immediately lifted. The place smelled of chocolate brownies – yum! There was a variety of cupcakes (I tried the chocolate with chocolate frosting)! There were macaroons, cakes and a choice of ice cream sandwiches too. Their ice cream sandwich has a filling of homemade vanilla... More

We had heard Mountain Cupcakes was awesome, we found it rather average, although the Macaroons were some of the largest we've ever seen. It didn't help that the young lady working there was rude and very short with us! Another entitled millennial I guess. With a nicer server we might have given 4 stars, but customer service is vital!

I grabbed a 7 layer bar to eat on the lift and was not disappointed. This Vegan/Gluten free oat bar had carob, coconut, and walnuts topped with coconut caramel!! PERFECT FOR A POWDER DAY! I was so satisfied that I went back after my day to get a cup a tea and a lavender/lemon Macaron! It was hands down the... More

Thumbs down, they were a big disappointment. They were very dry and not overly flavorful. Tasted like they were made a couple days ago.

The tiny shop wedged between high end clothing and jewelry is a real gem The owner Lauren will prepare perfect breakfast sandwiches when you call 15 minutes ahead and arrive to a sachel of goodies you can enjoy while waiting for first chair! Of course you could take the treats as well in e backpack for lunchtime snacks in Blue... More

I love their Cinnamon Roast Rum Macaroons, banana bread and when I want to really indulge, the biscuit and gravy breakfast burrito!!! If you're going to order a burrito, either call ahead or be prepared to wait about 10-15 minutes because these homemade burritos are made with love and that takes time.

The cupcakes were awful, extremely dry, lacking any flavor. The owner was rude and wearing a revealing tank top that was see-through and allowed her cleavage to fallout inappropriately. I did not expect this from a shop that outwardly appears to be family-friendly. She kept us in the shop longer than we would have liked by talking about her knee... More

We stopped by because we had a sweet tooth. I bought a tiramisu cupcake I saw in the display case. It cost $7 and wasn't that large or great. Cake part was dry -- the icing was just a homemade whipped cream. Nothing to brag about.
