Tavern on the Square is a good place for breakfast before hitting the ski hill. The buffet is good but expensive ($34/person). It also is a good place for a beer or cocktail, but there are better dining options in Vail for dinner.

The food and drinks we had were very good. The only down side, is that they are also very expensive.

I was there while waiting my spot in the Moose Pizza place and had a beer for the waiting time (35 minutes) and it is a very nice and expensive place!

My husband, toddler, and I were very pleasantly surprised with this restaurant for dinner. We probably went around 6pm. So after the apres ski crowd and before the dinner rush. The restaurant was accommodating and friendly towards our toddler (they had crayons and also provided a cute kids' cup). The kids' menu had several selections and was a great value.... More

Family of 4 for breakfast. Worst service in all of Vail. Ordered breakfast. They served my son's waffles and I had to ask for the syrup. Ordered coffee, had to ask for sugar and the waiter brought one spoon for 4 coffees!!!!! Water was never served. Had to ask a different waiter and we had been served our food for... More

This is a great place in Lions head to go in Vail. It has plenty of sitting room which is nice because of how busy the town was over the holidays. The staff was very attentive and the food was great. Very happy we went. The wings are really good...fyi

Great location and good food. Went with friends and 3 college aged boys. Everyone enjoyed their meal. Good service. Food was very good. Also had an acoustic musician that added to the ambiance. Recommended

This is a great location for a relaxing lunchtime break. The restaurant is an easy meeting location at the front of the mountain. The tables in the restaurant are large enough to allow you to layout your ski gear and relax. The service is excellent and the food is served promptly. I recommend the wings which are excellent. They are... More

We had lunch here and would best describe it as ok, but nothing special. The drinks were decent, but the food was fairly bland. The typical $18 hamburger place.

Thank Scott M
