Vail is pricey - that's how it rolls. However, when you go to a steak restaurant that has a $300 US steak on the menu, you expect excellence. BBQ is almost a religion in AUS - we can all BBQ a good steak, so you expect something really special when an expensive menu like this is put before you. Sadly,... More

If you are a meat lover this is the place for you. My brothers love it so much, that we end up coming two days in a row. I must warn you that is quite expensive. Especially if you are looking for some Waguu. If you are like me and don't eat meat they offer a small range of vegetarian... More

We ate here to celebrate my 40th birthday. The food and service were both great. Nice atmosphere. We had a good Caesar salad, steaks and shrimp. Everything was perfect. A little pricey but what is not in Vail?

Our family (14 adults and kids) had reservations for the buffet on Thanksgiving day. The prices were $110 for adults and $40 for kids, so I expected something really special. Not so. Even though the cold buffet with oysters, shrimp, crab was good as well as the salad bar and desert bar, the meats were dry and not hot especially... More

We spent a nice evening at Flame with our family of six. Our waiter was excellent as he knew the menu well and was quite personable. Five of us ordered steak and all cuts were very nice and grilled to perfection. The food was great, as was the service, but $500 for a dinner with no desserts and only two... More

This is a hard one actually, Its a very high restaurant and the service is reflective of the Four Seasons experience. Its just really overpriced for what you get. The steaks come in three tiers, Waguu (insanely overpriced), dry-aged (double the normal price) and standard (which is still good). The steaks themselves were good, but Elways was better. The sides... More

I took my best friend to dinner to celebrate his son's engagement. The service was impeccable and understated. Our cocktails were delicious and we were not rushed to order. He had the bone-in ribeye and I had the lamb chops. They were generous portions and cooked to perfection. We asked for recommendations for glasses of red wine (one pinot, one... More

We had such an amazing time for our anniversary dinner. We had a mix of seafood during the appetizer and had steaks for dinner. You can tell they take pride in sourcing the best food. And the service ... nothing short of perfect. Our waiter was attentive, knowledgeable and professional without being too formal. We came in for an anniversary... More

Make dining fun again. Four Seasons Resort Vail has reinvented Flame Restaurant with inventive twists on classic steakhouse favorites. Start off by tempting your palate with elk corndogs and a duo of dipping sauces, indulgent sides, such as truffled comte fritters with wild mushroom and bacon ragout, or satisfy your sweet tooth with maple bacon doughnuts with cherry bourbon compote. Of course, our menu still offers a variety of prime steak selections, like the 32-ounce dry-aged Waygu Ribeye, which is cooked to perfection under our 1,800 degree custom broiler, paired with house-made sauces and carved tableside.
